Great beer selection and good food for the price. The service at the bar has a lot of room for improvement. Expect to wait 10 minutes or more to be noticed and served at the bar even when the crowd is light. Additionally I would suggest checking that you food is cooked before eating it. I was served undercooked chicken (still pink and cold in the center) with my grilled chicken Caesar salad very recently. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the beer is great. Its definitely the best bar in the area despite its few issues. Edit: So I am updating the review to 5 stars. Ive been here a few more times since my original review. The Pub is fantastic. I havent had an experience like the one above in a long time and believe that was just an off day. Everywhere has off days. The bartenders are overworked. That much is true. They do the best they can given the crowd. I cant fault them a whole star for that.

If you are looking for an expansive draft beer selection with pub food, this is a good Hyde Park/Norwood option. Ive been going here for years, and the experience has remained very consistent. Consistently good. The service is usually quick and attentive. The atmosphere has character, even though this is a chain. On occasion they have had live music, a nice touch. I almost always get the fish and chips, and wash them down with a Belhaven Scottish Ale. Im quite a fan of that combo. When I have tried other menu items such as the london broil, I have found them to be quite tasty as well. If you are in the area The Pub is a solid choice.

Worst service Ive ever had in a restaurant. I travel a lot for work, and came here after a long day figured Id have a beer and dinner, well server comes gets my drink order and comes back with my beer and water. Doesnt come back for over 15 mins. I walk up to the bar. Give them $4 for my beer (still getting no service) and walked out. Seriously terrible service.

Overall excellent restaurant. One of the best in Rookwood Commons and in all of Cincinnati. The food is all unique and priced decently. The British/Scottish theme and atmosphere are pleasant and the servers are very good as well. A+ I highly recommend the Belhaven burger to burger fanatics.

Not quite a true English pub, but tries hard and mostly succeeds! Excellent food, albeit a tish bit expensive. If you get a chance then theres copious amounts of booze on tap. Small parking lot can get full, fast if youre not careful!

Been a regular there since April. Love the place, the vibe, the staff, the food, the beer, and the scotch selection. Save for one bartender, every single other person has always been awesome. Always looking forward to going back.

Solidly okay and fairly priced lunch. The beer selection is the most impressive part. If you want an easy to get to bar with ok food palatable to most, come here. If you want a great dinner, theres probably better choices.

Environment was... eh... The ceasar salad was gross. Service sucked. They had a stand for a hostess at the door, but you were supposed to seat yourself. THEN it took forever to be served. Fried pickles were good though

Good beer selection and happy hour specials. Try the cask ale for a taste of older times. Removed a star because service can be slow when theyre busy. And going to the bar to try and get a drink doesnt help.

Fun English Pub atmosphere with really good food. Fish and Chips, burgers and gouda bowls are delicious. Sometimes they are hit and miss on the draft beers. Im not sure how they determine what they have.
