Our order did not get turned in so we did not get or food. Finally i asked the waiter to check on our food as everyone who had came in after us, had already got theirs. He came back and told us this and apologized but didnt seem to bother him. Rather than blowing up, wife and I walked out. This was the 3rd time in 6yrs we had tried Farmers Feedmil. Each experience was bad, but in different ways. Went back this time for a 3rd chance because wife wanted something different and was wanting to try again. What would be the chance of having a bad experience again, i thought, so sure we tried. Well, seems to me it is habitual for this place or just meant to be for us to stay away.

How good the food is depends on what you consider "home cooking ". If you are used to from scratch cooking, this isnt it. Most of the food we have gotten has been overcooked/ not as ordered, or did not arrive due to not being turned in. We have to ask for refills, and the waiters spend a lot of time chit chatting even when busy. The owner is very nice, and has been very giving to the community. Priced similar to Cracker Barrel.

Was really disappointed, was out of there "staple" dish, quail, which is the reason we came from Elizabethtown. We got frog legs & catfish instead. The frog legs were the worst we have had anywhere, had no flavor at all & the catfish? I dont know what kind of fish it was, but it didnt taste like cat fish, it was not good either. We wont be back.

No cell service in this restaurant. The food is decently priced but also sub-par. the service is acceptable and the place is clean. Their food and service could both be better but their hiring policy of nepotism ensures this wont happen. Its a fine place to get a meal for under $10, but dont expect to walk out felling anything other than full.

Delightful discovery on our back roads travel through Kentucky. You cant miss with the daily meat and three specials. Our only regret was not to be there on Saturday night when they feature "game night" and we arent talking about cards or board games! My consolation was a piece of peanut butter pie. Super friendly staff too.

It had good food options but the food itself is over priced and generally not cooked to good standards for example I ordered a medium rare steak and I got it over well done so I advise anyone who goes here not to order the steak but the rest of the options are ok if your able to handle the price but generally its alright.

Food was tasteless service was horrible. kids too worried about talking instead of taking order or asking if anything was needed. No refills were offered. Would expect such if busy but only 3 tables. First time I have actually sent in bad reviews bc Im not that type. But the staff was very disrespectful.

FINALLY!!!NO SMOKING ALLOWED! YES! Apparently Leitchfield has gone smoke free. Now we can eat their wonderful food and not have to walk through the smoke to get to the back! Now we can eat in the main dining room! Love their food! Now we love the experience!

Just not happy with the meatloaf.... Was expecting meat. And the slider (sandwich) isnt going to be what you are accustom to having from other restaurants. Sorry thats all we dared try.... The desserts may have presented a more promising offer.

My husband and I are regulars at Farmers. The all you can eat catfish on Friday and Saturday nights is delicious. They also serve it grilled. Friendly service. They are a family owned business. So by and have a great meal.
