I had a free birthday bowl to use, so my girlfriend and I came to this location, rather than the one in Hendersonville, as it is a little closer to us. We were seated immediately, so theres the one star that this place has earned. Our waiter brought us our bowls and sauce containers, and they were all dirty. He noticed one of the sauce containers was particularly disgusting and brought us another one, which was also gross. He brought our drinks (in filthy glasses that should have been burned in a fire with a bunch of Nicholas Sparks books) and then we were off to slop some questionable ingredients into our filthy bowls. Joy! Praise Genghis Khan that we didnt get food poisoning from the room temperature meats that had been setting there all day. We wont be coming back to this location. I assume they are able to keep it this dirty because 95% of their customers are MTSU students who have killed off heaping amounts of their brain cells from binge drinking, and they dont know any better.

I visited this Genghis Grill last Saturday for my daughters birthday and it was such a good time! Our servers name was Kaylee (not sure if this is the correct spelling), and she was phenomenal. I have never been there before until that night and now I plan to come back as much as possible. Kaylee was very hard-working and made sure we had the best time. She has incredible customer service. So well, I left her the biggest tip I ever have given!! The food was great and my daughters birthday ended up being the best one yet! If youre looking for somewhere to eat thats healthy, and flavorful definitely try Genghis Grill! My next visit will hopefully be under Kaylee or another great server!

Service was great and very friendly and the restaurant was nicely clean. They made sure to keep our glasses filled and us aware of what they had going on. The food was delicious and very worth it for what we paid (prices for bowls are cheaper during lunch hours so I reccomend going that time of day.). We had leftovers from just a regular size bowl so you dont have to spend alot to eat alot. Basically you go in, pick what you like, and the cook will take it all and cook it up for you (you can watch if you wish). If you have any questions, just ask the friendly staff. They also have a nice bar and wifi if you enjoy those.

First service was pretty much nonexistent. It made zero sense to buy a drink because it came at the end of the meal. Food gave me the creeps. Basically food borne illness just waiting to happen. Also the entire concept is just junk. Line up, get your own raw food, give it to someone to cook. The sauce that I used, the 3G sauce, was soy raised to the billionth power. After four hours since I ate there, I can say that I still have the nasty after taste. The restrooms were nasty, the counters were completely covered in spilled sauce, the floor was sticky... My first visit will most likely be my last visit.

Ive been to other Mongolian grills and found this one seriously lacking. The price was way too high for what you actually get. The bowls come in three sizes and are way too small to fit much in. At every other restaurant Ive been to, its all you can eat. They were sure to stress the fact that you get one pass only, so cram as much into the bowl as is possible. The staff was lukewarm at best and you were expected to be seated while your food was prepared. Half of the fun of a Mongolian grill is to watch the chefs cooking styles. The food was diverse and pretty good, though.

I visit this Genghis Grill at least once a month. It is a normal Mongolian barbecue restaurant where you select raw foods and spices into a bowl, choose a sauce and starch, and have it grilled on a giant griddle. Genghis has a fantastic selection of meats and vegetables, and if know how to pack the bowl youre given, you can get quite a lot of food for your money. The only downside here is that, depending on the time of day and day off the week, it can get very crowded and take a while to get your meal delivered.

This one is much better than the Genghis Grill in Cool Springs. The servers are great and attentive, for what thats worth, and they give trays, I cant emphasize this enough, TRAYS to carry your bowls on while going through the line. Anyway, for those of you who arent familiar, you go down a buffet-style line and build your own Asian-style stir-fry bowl, then they grill it up for you hibachi-style. It can be exactly as nutritious as you want it to be, and exactly as tasty as you want it to be.

Food was delicious as it normally is. Our young female waitress Carter couldnt seem to get anything right. And she was very slow moving and would avoid looking towards the table . She wasnt listening or didnt care. Four of us eating she got one bowl size wrong and then we ask for separate checks and she put it all on one. Both problems someone from the table had to get up and go find her to fix it .This is normally not the service we get when we do go.

Pretty good restaurant. Allows you to customize your bowl with however many proteins and veg you can fit in your bowl. Great variety, though they need to work on keeping the proteins from each other in the bar, otherwise cross-contamination might be an issue. I understand that its mostly the customers who do this, but a little cleanup between groups of people wouldnt be amiss. Good service, though the prices are higher than I prefer.

Our waiter Ashley was great. The place was out of steak, onion, and scallops. Apparently they quit serving steak period... It was 7:30 the place obviously was under prepped. It was a running joke in line with other customers that there was gonna be no food left. Me and my wife wont be back because of the mess of a meal I put together from random items or should I say scraps.

This is a great place to eat. I love the many selections on the bar and we havent had bad experience with the staffs. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 because the last couple of times, I had fish in my bowl and after eating there, my stomach didnt feel right. Maybe the fish was not so fresh. But the other people we went with had chicken and other meats and they were fine.

The waiter was nice and very helpful. It was our first visit. Have been to other similar restaurants and this one stands a little below par in my opinion. Food was fair. A bit overpriced for the food and environment. Haf the medium bowl which was more than enough food. I would return but wouldnt make a special trip and wouldnt necessarily recommend it to my friends.

The food tasted really good. The servers, when they talked to you, were nice. However, our server rarely came over. I had to get up to get my own drinks. Not busy and tables went uncleaned while several employees watched the football game on the television. Price per portion was also on the high side.
