Went to Firehouse Subs in Highland Heights last night prior to going bowling. My daughter had called the order in ahead of time for me so I wouldnt be late. When I arrived I picked up a bag of chips and told them that they need to get the oven baked chips back. He stated that a lot of people were asking for them. I told him my name for the order and it was in the system and no-one had made it. The owner, manager or whatever he was said "we would make it right away" I said I dont have time to wait. That is why It was called in ahead of time." He said we can do it right away. I said "No forget it. I have to be where I need to go and need to be there now" I was sitting at the table where I had to be when the owner of Firehouse subs walked in and placed my order in front of me. Along with a vanilla coke I usually get AND a bag of oven baked chips that he had to have stopped at the store to purchase. I asked how he knew where I was. He said he called the number that called in the order . She told him where I was and what I usually drink. When I asked what I owed him the answer was "You owe nothing. We screwed up so you owe nothing." I could not thank him enough!!!! I could not believe that he would do something like that and was very, very impressed that he would. I will definitely continue to go there and would highly recommend anyone else to go there. They really went out of their way for me and I could not be more impressed.

First, the sammies are just okay. But thats only if its made correctly. This was not the case during my visit I went with my girlfriend (9/11/17) and were THE ONLY CUSTOMERS and there were four (4!) employees. We ordered two sandwiches. They were both messed up. And my girlfriend sandwich was just veggies, cheese and ranch, but they put waaaaaaay too much ranch on it making it a disgusting inedible mess. See pic. Secondly, it was a to go order. Get home. See the mess and mistakes. Call the manager (Tom) and he says the only thing he can do is replace them if I bring them back in. No apology. No remorse. Didnt ask why. I just dont get it. Thirdly, I paid $16 for two inedible sammies and a phone call from a man who clearly didnt care. Save your money and dont go. TL;DR: expensive sammies made by people who dont care and cant follow directions. Also ask for light sauce. Both were soggy. Disgusting.

Since all the franchisees near my residence have closed, stopped here for quick dinner as had a meeting to attend. First introduced to the chain in Virginia Beach about 4 years back - was happy to see it come into the Greater Cinci area; saddened to see two (2) close that were w/in 3 miles of my house. Getting back to THIS franchise, very good quality, tho I thought the price for a small sandwich-to-go with items removed to be a bit high: $5.89. Spouse asked where I found a Firehouse - looks like Ill be picking up more "to-go" orders in the future, as I pass it 2x daily to & from work. Out of curiosity, can I order a "cold" sub?

I ordered a veggie sub and essentially what I got was a soggy ranch sandwich. The bread (white instead of the wheat that I had ordered) literally disintegrated and fell apart as soon as I picked it up. Over half of the ingredients that I ordered were not in the sub, but under it. 100% disappointed in my experience. Oh and did I mention that my boyfriend and I were the only customers inside? I could understand if they were busy but we were literally the only people. This is just pure laziness and lack of effort.

Friendly people. Nice atmosphere, yummy food. Great selection of HOLY HOT sauces to add some heat to the party if youre into that sort of thing. But the food stands for itself without it. Kids meals are very reasonably priced and enough to eat even for my hungry critters. Ill be back!

Tried to stop here for lunch today only to be ignored by 3 female and 1 male employee. There were maybe 9 people in the store and I was the only one in line. Being busy is one thing but ignoring a customer 2 feet from you is rude and bad business.

Meh... I usually like a good toasted sub but havent been very impressed any time Ive been here. The sandwich quality is just mediocre, but its always pretty robust business during lunchtime so it must just be me...

Delicious subs, and there is a while wall of every pilot hot sauce so you are guaranteed to find your favorite and then they have their own hot sauce which is amazing, both hot and flavorful.
