If you can make even boxed macaroni, save your money. If you have money to spend and enjoy bland recycled macaroni then this is your place. A comically limited menu paired with an inattentive wait staff makes this cozy little restaurant the place to go. They do have an ok burger at an unreasonable price. So you could always get that if your work friends drag you here. Also, the service is super speedy. Especially if youre used to being served by a corpse. Nearly 40 minutes wait time after your order is placed may seem short, but when youre being forced to listen to classic rock at a level that kills any possibility of a conversation with anyone further than 5.7 inches from your face, it starts to feel boring. At least you can strain your eyes looking at the black and white photos with the light of 7 40 watt light bulbs. Fries were ok.

Some co-workers and I placed an online order for take out and we walked down to get it since it only about 3 blocks from our office in Covington. We had four separate orders and when I asked the bar maid if we could split the checks she said it would be no problem. Then when I told her that one of the orders was just an iced tea she got all huffy and asked me if I was sure I wanted the iced tea on a separate check since it was only two dollars. I said, "Yes, if its not a big deal" and she said "Whatever". Then I attempted to explain why we wanted it that way, some people were paying with debit cards, and she said "I really dont care why". So I just shut up and got our food and left. No tip for her and I probably wont be back. A place is only as good as their rudest employee.

In the past these place was a good experience. Now it is a mess. Waited 10 plus minutes for someone to take our name for a table when we walked in. Thought maybe because it was busy but found there to be numerous open seats. Once seated it took 20 plus minutes to get a new drink after reminding the waitress we ordered.... The drinks were cans of beer. One of the people I was with ordered brisket sandwich, didnt come as described on the menu. Took 30 minutes to get onion rings so it would be as ordered. By then his food was cold. The pulled chicken was also a mess, cold and mostly bun with barely any BBQ sauce. The chips we ordered as a side were so small they looked like they were poured from the bottom of a bag, literally chip crumbs. Overall really disappointing.

USED TO BE AMAZING. Was one of the best secrets in NKY. Now, meh. The food is overwhelmingly the okay when given the premium price. Great location and wonderful outdoor seating area though. Its pretty good and would be much more palatable if it wasnt for inflated prices. Even their half off Mac n cheese monday isnt that great anymore because now you are conscripted to purchase a drink. So theyre not really half price. Same goes with quesadilla Tuesdays except the quesadilla is only HALF. A quesadilla. At $10+ for half a quesadilla and no sides, thats a hard pass. Used to love going to keystone weekly. Now, I rarely come seeing as I always leave feeling taken advantage off. Boo keystone.

My maid of honor hosted our engagement party on the second floor of Keystone in Covington last month. We had approximately 45 family and friends attend with one bartender. She was, by far, the rudest server Ive ever had. She acted put out when we would approach the bar and ask for a beverage, texted on her phone most of the night and even ate food at the bar while on her shift. I was extremely disappointed by her attitude and called to speak to a manager about her behavior afterwards. The assistant manager was very apologetic and kind, but beware to NEVER get this chick when paying hundreds of $$ for a private party. Very disappointing.

We got takeout for the first order for my office: I was impressed with the automated ordering system, as it guarantees no miscommunication, and pre-paid with a credit card, per the ChowNow engine. The food (dinner for 6 people) was ready at the requested time. It was good, but not worth the price paid... especially given that 2 side items (cole slaw and an order of Keystone chips) were left out. I have become more demanding of a customer as I have aged - the automated system prevents any excuse for omission of portions of a meal. I am on the proverbial fence as to whether or not I will invest in another meal from this place.

I have always loved and recommended Keystone, but over the last 6 months have seen a definite decline in quality of signature dishes. Today had BB King Mac & cheese. In the past this has been an awesome dish. Today the Mac was under cooked, the cheese was light, very little BBQ sauce was used, and the chicken pieces seemed under cooked as well. They didnt bring or offer extra BBQ sauce with the BBQ dish, I had to wait for 5 minutes to get the attention of a waitress to request a bottle of sauce. Definitely the most disappointing experience so far at this location.

I visited this location on Friday afternoon. There were very few customers. We waited approximately 35 minutes to receive the order we placed. Our server was especially attentive and cordial. I asked the server to tell the manager and kitchen staff how long it took for our food to be served. The food was very good (except for the brussel sprouts). No one approached the table to address my complaint. This has been the typical attitude of this restaurant. The food is good most of the time, and the service is good some of the time.

This is by far my favorite place for mac n cheese. They also have excellent sandwiches. Everytime we go, my husband and I split a sandwich and a mac dish and we usually have some to take home. Even though I have an intolerance to soy, Ive never asked about it here because Ive never had a problem, which points to their use if fresh, quality ingredients and you can really taste it. I enjoy the atmosphere and bring guests in from out of town all the time. I have yet to disappoint a single one! We have yet to try a dish we didnt like!

A friend and I decided to check out their Saturday brunch. We choose keystone because of the many food and drink options online. Unfortunately the restaurant was cold temperature and the food was not pleasing. We ordered french toast and blueberry pancakes...easy for to make...wrong! Both were tasteless, cold and bland. Our drinks were good but would have been better if our server recommended a pitcher after we already ordered our drinks. Our suggestions is stick with lunch and dinner because thats working!

We had a college grad party with about 45-50 guests. The food was amazing, salad, veggie wraps (yum!), wings, brisket and the best mac & cheese ever! Our bartender was friendly, prompt to requests & attentive to our food service & quality! The reservation process was easy with Lauras help. Overall it was a great experience. I had lunch there one time before our party and I will be going back on a more regular basis. I would definitely recommend them for your party, lunch or dinner needs!
