Ive been to the Indianapolis District Tap multiple times and this location is VERY different! For starters, its 1/2 the size with 1/2 the beer selection. This District Tap is more of a bar and less of a restaurant/sports bar. They are consistent with the local craft beer taps though (mostly Lexington and Cincinnati). To be noted: we were at District Tap at 8:00PM on a Friday during the world series and it was DEAD. We ordered beer first and was very disappointed when our beer was delivered to us in incorrect sizes and glassware. We ordered a porter and a hefeweizen and both were served in 10oz. snifter glasses although they were supposed to be in 16oz. glasses. For those who dont know, hefeweizen needs to be served in a weizen glass (my husband is German so he was furious). Our food was delivered and it was incredibly disappointing. We ordered the grilled wings and the loaded nachos. The nachos did have fresh chips, but the cheese-wiz drenched the whole platter. It was also advertised with having pulled pork, but there were more ounces of pickled jalapenos (not fresh) than ounces of stringy dry "pulled pork." The wings were fine but incredibly bland. The only redeeming quality of the wings was the ranch dipping sauce. The restaurant/bar is clearly not doing well considering the bartender would typecast the patrons and then serve beer in a smaller glass depending on if they looked like they knew beer (he guessed wrong on me). Additionally, they already upped their prices on the menu and changed it by hand... couldnt afford to reprint menus? Overall, wouldnt go back.

Overall a very impressive experience, great atmosphere to watch a game. Went on a Sunday with Sunday night football on and MLB Playoffs, know you are going to a sports bar restaurant, with sports being highlighted they have the game sound on fairly loud, but expect that for that atmosphere. Beautifully decorated with custom UK wood on the wall. 30 taps, with a heavy local influence and prices seemed $.50-$1 less then youd pay at other similar places for craft beer. Both on the wall and website you can see how much is left in each keg, very cool. Took a while to get my first drink at the bar or be greeted but they quickly made up for it from there. Got the mac attack burger, fried mac and cheese, bacon burger, and with tater tots as an option you know I went with that. Both were delicious, would absolutely be back for that burger. Friend with me got a salmon salad, that she thoroughly enjoyed, Salmon looked well prepared. For a sports restaurant the food was very tasty, better then expected. Pool table in the back, and plenty of sizeable TVs offering great views from everywhere. Very nice patio and garage door that turns most of the restaurant into an inside/outside feel on a nice day.

Good burger... Very good burger. Had the beer cheese and bacon burger. Great service, Monday Happy Hour till 7pm. A very limited menu and a couple bucks above the local average for food. Wednesday thru Saturday District opens up the doors to the place next door, Big Whiskey. Same owners. District and Big Whiskey takes on the "place to be" presence hiring top touring bands. Big Whiskey is stage side to watch the band, chill at a well stocked bar or high energy dance area... District is area to go to and still appreciate the band while clearly holding a conversation with friends, old friends or new ones.

Advertised 1/2 price appetizers during happy hour on web site but no that is no longer offered. Ordered wings and they were $1.50 each if you did the math. I thought some had fallen off the plate or something. Ordered beer cheese and it was a bit skimpy on the portion also. Plenty of chips but not enough cheese to use them. I doubt Ill go back. All of this said, not a bad atmosphere. Outdoor seating with a guitar player on the Friday my son and I went. Bottom line, not a great bang for the buck kind of place.

The food was ok. I was not impressed with our waiter. Being in the service industry myself, id like to think he was just having an off night. His crude jokes and flippant attitude was a big turn off.

Good food, lots of space inside and parking, and has billiards and darts available for fun times.

Way better atmosphere then saddleridge. This place is now a trendy sports bar with pool tables.
