Every time I go to this particular store. I get horrible service & several times my chicken has had blood on the bone.. meaning undercooked... the staff is always acting like they are on drugs or hates their jobs. .. & 3 out of 5 times my order is always wrong. Like how hard is it to fix a chicken lil with extra pickels. Or I was greenbeans instead of corn. I dont know Ive contacted the store management several times ...he acts like he could care less... I believe thats the problem they need new management. .... The that crystal tag cashier. ... she acts like she knows what shes doing.. she always get my order right.. But most of the workers act like they are on cloud 420.... have have no clue how to do their jobs. You would think they would take a little more pride in a place that represents our community. People stop in from all over the world. TAKE PRIDE IN SOMETHING... this place makes me a shamed to be from Corbin. Home of the Chicken....

The history and museum portion of the place was great and the displays were very informative. Not a whole lot of museum items - just enough to see and read. Very concise. Theres no admission fee/ticket whatsoever which is great! However, the cafe portion of this place was a tad disappointing. Its merely another typical KFC youll find all over the country built into the place. I was hoping that they would have some sort of special menu or unique menu items that other KFCs wouldnt have, but alas... If youre just passing through the area its a good spot for a quick stop/visit. I wouldnt recommend planning a whole trip around it or go out of your way just to see it though.

Dirty. Run down. Good was substandard. Overcooked "old" chicken that sat too long. Small pieces. Limited sides. Limited menu. Missing many standard items like baked beans, for one. The museum displays are cute. Best part is the Col Sanders statue on the park bench. Go take your picture with it then eat someplace else. Sadly disappointed.

Meh. Just stick to places close to the interstate for food/service. Other than the coolness factor of seeing the original restraunt portion, the service and food is what to be expected from any KFC. No greeting, no smiles, subpar food. Colonel Sanders rolling in his grave.

Not only is this a historic and nostalgic location, the customer service is impeccable. Ashley, the Asst. Mgr., was so welcoming and friendly. She even came to locate us in the restaurant to give us some of the delicious new Finger Lickin Sauce.

Although Im not a fan of fried food , piece of history is being preserved here and its neat. Displays are informative and give visitor a glimpse into the area of that time. I recommend reading the displays to learn about his business approach.

They have not done this place justice. There should be a gift shop. Instead they sell lame magnets, and t shirts over the counter of a regular KFC restaurant. The museum part is nice but overshadowed with the out of date facilities.

Who doesnt love some KFC? It is the standard fare, but with a small museum dedicated to Harland Sanders. They have some nice pieces of history. It was fascinating to see how he created his empire with great marketing and hard work.

Their food prices have skyrocketed more than all the other Colonels places its great to visit the little Museum in to see the place but the service could be better the food could be better and their prices need to come down

It was fun to see where it all began. I love KFC, and I found pleasure in learning the history of Harland Sanders and the place where he started cooking chicken in his own special way. Heres to you, Colonel Sanders!

WOW!!!!!!!! What an experience to see where Colonel Harland Sanders was born and where he started KFC Restaurant. Its a Restaurant and a Museum all in one. History right here in good old Corbin Kentucky.

The birthplace of KFC. This is such a neat little roadside stop to make and is quite interesting and informative. There is a regular KFC restaurant attached, so it is also a good spot for lunch.

Not really a kfc fan, but the novelty was nice. Getting to it took a little bit of an effort. Down a very windy, hilly and narrow country road! Watch out for them mailboxes! #torontoalumni

Fun stop with lots to look at! Certainly a difference experience than the usual KFC with the same chicken. Would come back through again and perhaps purchase a few more Sanders souvenirs!

I felt the food was superior to other KFCs, accept no substitutes. They also have a museum exhibit, and souvenirs. There is also a bronze statue of the colonel downtown at Sanders square.

Best KFC around. Awesome museum about Harland Sanders and the history of his businesses and of KFC in particular. Very clean. Outstanding customer service. A proud flagship of the brand!

Ok, so its a KFC, but its a cool KFC. It was pretty interesting to see the hotel rooms that Harlan Sanders started his enterprises with. The museum kitchen is also worth the trip.

If you are already in the area it is a nice place to stop. It is a regular KFC resturant built into the original resturant. It is worth seeing. Nice history lesson.

Normal KFC food, but the memorabilia is interesting. I wouldnt go far out of your way, but if youre driving by on 75, and youre hungry, its worth a stop.

Unique experience for KFC. The museum is great and they also sell memorabilia. Do not seem to mind if you just wanna look around and not make a purchase.

While the tidbits of KFC & Sanders memorabilia are interesting, Sanders Cafe is merely the original building retrofit with a generic, modern-day KFC.

Well worth stopping to to see history of KFC. My only issue would be, there is no grilled chicken on menu. You have to ask for it. Would recommend.

This is a standard KFC built next to the original restaurant that the Colonel opened in Corbin, Kentucky. Good food, nice historical displays.

Great historic place to eat. Food was standard KFC fare. KFC could do more to fix it up and really make it a great attraction.

The museum part is small and the food is just normal kfc but I still really enjoyed this pit stop. Would recommend it for sure.

Historic. This is original KFC founded by Harland Sanders. Been there multiple times. Food has always been hot & served fast.

Not a lot to see. I was expecting more due to the iconic nature of the Col and KFC. What you do see is actually pretty cool.

Its interesting to see the difference between the sit down restaurants beginning and the fast food chain we know today.

I have had better KFC. The displays were informative but there was no display of memorabilia available for purchase.
