I know many reviewers rave about this shop. I dont want to be dismissive of those people (I really, really want to love it), but this place sort of sucks from my experience. Ive probably been in there half a dozen times and Ive yet to leave with a single positive ancedote. Its usually pretty early in the morning, with only one person working the front--always the same person so far, in fact--when I come in. I dont expect much, as most people arent their best selves so early, but not once has this employee been kind or helpful. It takes forever to order even though no one else is there. You arent greeted with a smile. Nor is there a "youre welcome" or "have a nice day," which is rather uncommon in and of itself in the south. Needless to say, its not the friendliest place All of that could be overlooked if the coffee and tea actually lived up to the hype, but it most certainly does not (again, in my experience). For example, The last time I was there, I ordered a chai latte. Apparently, Y&MC&T--or this employee--thinks a latte should be served at room temperature because I swear, by the time I got home with it (I live less than a 4 minute drive from downtown Corbin), it was cold... Not lukewarm-just cold For the price of that mediocre latte (i think it was around 5 bucks), I could make 10 using the tazo concentrate from Kroger. Thats not the point however.. I get it at a coffee shop because its convenient if Im already out and such places generally have better equipment, equaling better beverages. At the least, if I can make a better cup of coffee and/or tea at home for a fraction of the cost, the establishment better have something unique to offer customer service wise. This place simply falls short on every account for me. Of course, none of what Ive said should keep anyone from going and drawing their own conclusions. I imagine its a great place to sit back with a group of friends, or a laptop. Its just not my go-to place for a nice drink.

The BEST cappuccino I have EVER had. My mother couldnt help herself but get a second caramel latte. My brother absolutely loved his iced mocha. My step-dad was captivated by the tasty, healthy, and eco-friendly kombucha. My little sister, the only non-coffee drinker in the family, thought her minty hot chocolate was amazing, and tasted like "a York peppermint patty". The cashier was one of the nicest people Ive ever met, and the overall cleanliness and positivity of the room was exemplary. My only complaint is that Im only passing through and I cant find anything like it back home in Ohio! Definitely a MUST for anyone else passing through. A wonderful start to my spring break vacation.

My fiancee and I stopped by here for the first time ever and I must say it was a real breath of fresh air. The Mocha we ordered was simply magnificent and the Blueberry muffins were to die for! The real superstar, aside from the amazing and friendly staff, had to be the Chai Coffee with a shot of Vanilla! By far the best place Ive ever been to! My only regret was not asking when brunch was served, because we will certainly be back this Sunday. If youre anywhere near downtown Corbin and want to step out of the hustle and bustle of day to day Kentucky living, I highly recommend You And Me Coffee And Tea to all!

I was very disappointed. I have heard awesome things about this restaurant. When I visited, I was disappointed to find no soy-free options. I have an allergy and literally could eat nothing on the menu. Had I been to weekend bruch, they serve chicken and waffles, but nothing without soy through the week. I ordered a cappuccino, which was over priced and exceptionally bitter. To be honest, the food did look good. I just wish I could have eaten it. :(

Love this local coffee shop. Fantastic specialty coffee prepared exceptionally well. Friendly baristas and a nice environment. Although the coffee is the main draw, dont overlook their food options. House made pastries, hot lunch, and the best brunch around during the weekends. Whether local or just passing through, make sure to check the place out, you wont be disappointed.

A little over priced, >$9 for a chicken salad sandwich and a cup of coffee, but it was one of the better chicken salad sandwiches Ive eaten so definitely worth it. Also, what endeared me to the place is that I spilled this overpriced coffee all over myself and the floor, and the guy working there was very gracious about it and didnt make me feel like the dumbass I am : )

Ive always loved this place. Such a calming environment and a place that holds memories. I only ever get the loose leaf green tea and it is always amazing. Would definitely recommend. I love to spend time here to get some of my summer work completed and the vibe of this shop is absolutely perfect for getting work done.

Tasty baked goods and a roast from the coffee scene in Asheville. Plenty of games to keep your group occupied and live music for the nights when you are looking for something to do besides go to Wal-Mart. Love this place and hope it thrives for many years to come!

The owners, workers, and atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing. Not to mention, the food and drinks. This is an amazing place to just hang out, do some homework or play a few board games. I would know, its been my go-to spot since they opened.

I like the atmosphere and that its a great place to chill with friends, but you ask for sweet tea and they tell you to go find sugar packs that are supposedly on the table. Nice scenery, though.
