I was in the mood for a steak, but the restaurants I usually go to close mid-afternoon on Sundays. I remembered that Golden Corral has a steak section...and everything else you can think of so I stopped in. They were serving sirloin and it was pretty good. Small portions but you can go back as often as you like. The first one I got was dry because it was cooked to well done. I think that well done is the default if they are cooking several to have ready and customers dont ask for rare to medium, etc. I sat within sight of the grill and when they put some more steaks on I waited a bit and then went up and asked for a rare steak. The chef told me it would be about two minutes. It was about medium rare when he served it to me (which is sort of what I expected) and it was delicious. I dont like to put anything on my steak and just let the juices accent the meat. I got a couple more portions before finishing. They had some pot roast and I tried a few bites worth. Tasted good...but dry, dry, dry. They had some popcorn shrimp with cocktail sauce. I had a couple of onion rings, some mushrooms, a bit of potato salad...and I was full. So full that I didnt even check out the full array of deserts on display. Everything was good. I could have had some slices of ham, meat loaf, pizza or a couple varieties of chicken. They also had a Mexican bar where you could build your own tacos or taco salad. Lots of variety. Also lots of options at the regular salad bar. They had enough meat options that you could build a chef salad. Just about everything you can think of was available...with one noticeable exception. This is the first buffet in my memory that didnt have baked fish available. I always make room for baked fish, but there just wasnt any. I go to a buffet about twice each year and always come away full and satisfied. This is a good one...the employees often had smiles on their faces as they worked together. If you like people watching, this buffet draws in a range of people in (literally) all shapes and sizes. You wont be bored.

By far the worst experience Ive ever had. The whole place was a mess. There were several tables that still needed cleaning, but the staff was unprofessional and were more concerned with messing around than they were with doing their jobs. Kitchen staff seemed busy but uninterested in keeping the buffets cleaned and wiped down. Considering the fact that we realized afterward that they were getting ready to close, I thought maybe we just went at the wrong time. But being in the restaurant industry, I know that there should never be a "wrong time" to go to a restaurant. After barely eating any food, I noticed someone eating an ice cream cone, so I waited a few minutes to then help myself to icecream because its hard to go wrong with ice cream at a buffet. When I got to the machine, the cones were empty and the manager asks us if theres even any ice cream. As if we were idiots for not realizing they had already taken the machine apart. A simple, "I apologize, the ice cream machine has been taken down." would have sufficed. I was so confused because this was only a few minutes after seeing someone else with an ice cream cone. The manager or servers didnt even bother letting anyone know about the machine. At that point, I was too disgusted to even attempt any other desserts. Left in a hurry with a sour stomach and the horrible feeling of being robbed. Definitely not worth the $15/person that we paid. And definitely never returning to this establishment. I shouldve went with my first instict and ate at the chinese buffet close by. It wouldve been alot cheaper and much better food/service.

I love Golden Corral! Love the steak wished I knew what seasoning they use that liquid stuff I guess. I do wished however they did have more with their sad bar. I am at Golem corral now and I hate to but have to change what I said. Since they have breakfast stuff they are missing a lot of the lunch foods. The potatoes taste like they r old, a funky taste. Also the French toast is hard the bisquits for bisquits and gravy are hard. And no steak wich is why I come here. Very disappointed today Editing again, there are no cucumbers for salad and only wings and thighs for their chicken, no breats. I am so dissapointed, disappointed that I dont know if Ill be back. First time ever being this dissatisfied with golden coral. I feel as though we wasted our money paying for these to go boxes

Very good food, buffet very nice. Depending on your point of view its a good deal or its rather expensive. Its still under $20, and what do you expect for major city and all you can eat buffet. Stay as long as you like and eat what you want to. You can get a very fine salad, a good steak or even little bit of Asian stir fry. Something for everybody. Very good for groups in my opinion. Finding it however, presents a bit of a challenge. You can see it easy enough from the highway and the freeway system. But is very easy to go speeding by and not find the run around entrance to get into it. Its kind of down in the hide away, just off the pink theater. If you dont know where youre going easily miss it or just get lost. Keep your eyes open once you see it think about where it is youll find it.

Amazing! The lunch service today was unbeatable. Both my steaks(I couldnt stop at just one) were very tender and beautifully seasoned, and I got huge pieces of steak at that. The shrimp was really great buffet shrimp. Crunchy, deveined, and not rubbery or particularly fishy. The bourbon chicken was AMAZING, pair it with your steak and some of their delicious sauteed mushrooms for heaven on a plate. The yellow rice and mac were simply okay, nothing special. The cornbread was great and not gummy at all, and was coated in a delicious salted butter. None if the desserts really blew me out of the water really. My favorite thing was the banana pudding. Would definitely come back.

Food is cold, yet dining rooms are stiflingly hot. Waited while a guy at the grill cooked some great looking chicken, then watched him put it in a warmer behind him and close the door and when I asked he directed me to a COLD platter of chicken fajitas. The gravy is thin and watery, potatoes are gummy, sticky, and a lot of dishes are empty altogether. The waiter we have is pretty good but everything else should be zero stars. The manager did refund our money once she came to talk to us. That took about 15 minutes.

Good food as always! But our waitress did not pay attention at all and would leave her section for 10-15 minutes at a time to mess around on her phone. I even got a picture of her standing on her phone. I had to flag her down 3 times just to ask for more water. This is the first time I have had service like this, usually I dont even see them refill the glasses and they are on point with clearing tables.
