and gotten better service then what I got from this place. First, the waitress went around our table serving everyone else but us. Then the mashed potatoes (nothing but clumps) was crap. I notice the manager (Gonzalez) behind me showing his cook, so.I brong it up to his attention. All I got was an attitude and I quote ( na man, what do you mean? theyre good!!...) I could NOT believe my ears!!!! It cost $45.00 for 4 of us. Not sure how this place is getting great reviews...but it would not surprise me if some of them are family, friends, or employees. Avoid this place if you are expecting good service, because your Not going to get it here. This place was also a mess. Not clean at all. Dishes stacked up on tables. I would not recommend this place to no one. Ps. We are also contacting corporate.

Said theyd be open to 10 pm when we called before coming. At 8:45 pm we were approached at our table to rush and get dessert because they were closing in 15 minutes. When we got up to do that, we saw that all the regular food stations were already shut down, with all food gone and the area cleaned up. Our food selections were satisfactory, but the people we were with complained the breaded fish had no fish inside, and the brownies had no flavor. They didnt finish their food. Unlikely any of us will return. The GC in Harlingen and McAllen are both bigger and better. We prefer FURRs FRESH BUFFET in McAllen.

Worse experience ever food looked gross like if they had just reheated it! Waiter never came to attend us we even had to go get are own high chair for the baby! There was only one waiter in the whole restaurant! That many us almost choke on our food because we never got our refills on our drinks! People who worked there didnt even look clean! We even had to wait staying up like for 20 minutes just to get what we wanted because they couldnt get the person to open the back! Never again will I go there & honestly I dont recommend this place to anyone!

Arrived at around 4:00pm and we were the only ones waiting to pay.. But what a line of people waiting for a piece of steak... The lady working the grill had no clue...she needed more instruction on how to start grilling early and when there was room be sure to put another steak on grill. The people waiting for a well done piece were there for 10-15+ minutes... I never did get a piece even after 1/2 hr. Very poor planning and lack of preparation on their part.

Well it was a tad warm as the air conditioner was not working. However, the food was delicious as always and plenty of it to boot. Now how is a person suppose to stick to salads when delicious food awaits you at every turn?! Ha! ha! The choice in drinks, however, was limited due to - well cant really remember. The staff were working and providing their services with a smile on their faces despite the warm working conditions. Two thumbs up!!!

I pUlled up to the restaurant today at 9:05 pm and i peered inside from my car, the manager saw us and as soon as i parked the manager turned off the lobby lights. The website says open till 10pm the door said 9:30pm. I was actually picking up a last minute gift card and thanks to the manager, Im happy i didnt give a gift that would have ruined someones day. Never going again.

I am not one who likes to give a bad review but I was very unsatisfied that I needed to share. Food was moderate, needs BETTER selections for the price, ice cream melts as soon as you arrive at your table (they should invest in Blue Bell). Also very dirty (was able to peak at the kitchen). Staff was nice, however, hence my 2 stars review. Harlingen is a better location.

This Restaurant deserves 10 minus stars, they dont have enough food to be called buffet, The service is so bad, the place is real dirty, I hope i could communicate this to there main office, even if is franchise, they should try to give a same service as other gives,,,,

They have really good food had a bad expierance in McAllen golden corral next to Sams not good food at all but as always Weslacos golden corral has great food and awesome customer service the best in south Texas

Food was horrible, no food selections, macaroni never came out. I asked for a steak and they said they only had chicken. They should close this place down. The people of Weslaco deserve better..........

Price a tad high (it is a buffet after all) , but food and service was great! The waiter (James) was very attentive and the food was delicious, and the steak... Mmmmm... Tastu, tender and juicy!!!

Very good food, very sanitary in the dining area. The restrooms are absolutely horrible, words cannot describe how grotesque the bathrooms are. Overall Good, but the bathrooms ruin the expierence.

Fabulous selection of great food, and even healthy options, if you pay attention. Ask the servers for information too, they were very friendly and helpful. My favorite is the cotton candy! Yum!
