When it comes to bang for your buck, there is no better restaurant in Wichita than Albero Cafe. Id rather go here with my fiance and spend $30 on an appetizer, entree and drinks for the both of us, than spend over $100 at any other fine-dining establishment... and make no mistake- Albero Cafe is fine-dining quality food. Feel free to go in wearing shorts or slacks, it makes no difference. The building is clean and beautiful. The wait staff is unbelievable at what they do. The food- again- is the best in Wichita, IMO. I highly recommend the pastrami sandwich, Italian nachos, chicken caprisi, and Albero burger. Really, though, you cant go wrong. The specials are always amazing. The wine is paired perfectly. Super affordable... a total gem. DO NOT miss out on Albero. I only wish I had found it sooner!

Score! Fresh Italian food made and served with love. My husband and I were first time diners on a recent Friday evening. The owner Hassan came out to greet us personally which set the tone for a great experience. The Shrimp Scampi entree with pan roasted garlic cloves was our favorite. Also pleasing was their house Prosecco that we paired with it. The open dining room has a low key, hip neighborhood vibe that suited our date night well while dually serving families and a larger party. We intend on returning frequently and highly recommend this pearl!

Wichita has many local restaurants but not many who offer truly tasty gluten free options. Albero Cafe is one of those that do! (My friends say the fully gluten food is awesome, too.) Their flat breads are flavorful and not dry. The pear arugula salad is delicious. The pasta dishes are fantastic. Each visit the owner checks on our dining experience and then thanks us for the patronage. Great for dates - whether romantic or with your besties!

Stopped by this place tonight at the very last minute... I am so glad I did! This place offers some awesome fettuccine formaggio. Tastful, rich and hearty. Better than anything Ive tried in the Wichita area. I cannot wait to see what else they have in store. Friendly and polite personnel. Very professional and clean. Shook hands with the owner himself. Very impressionable person. I would give my first experience 10 stars.

Excellent cafe with a thoughtful and original menu. Alberto is located in a building that used to have a hepatitis Doctor as a tenant, and for some reason, I cant get this little hangup out of my head. The paninis are brilliant and one of the best salads I have had in a long time. I recommend Albero and it is very convenient for Crown Heights and College Hill residents.

Must have the italian Nachos. If you arent sure about them check out the local Kansas magazine in Dillons. They have a 20% off total bill there that will help you decide to try them out. Im still not 100% sold on all of their entrees but I will say the Carbonara is delicious. Some of the items seem thrown together but either way you should check this place out.

Delicious! A perfectly fresh Italian menu with outstanding execution. My wife and I cant wait to come back to try something new. Hassan and co. are gracious and attentive. The cafe is bright, clean and inviting. The more I go there, the more I believe this restaurant is a Wichita treasure. Highly recommended!

Ate lunch on a Tuesday, and it was great! Waitstaff was attentive and helpful. Food was moderately priced and delicious! They also have a wide selection of food including flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers and lots of amazing pasta. You wont be disappointed!

This place was amazing. I was in town for work and we wanted a good meal outside of the hotel. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Not sure I will ever be back to Wichita but if I am I will make sure to visit Alberos for another meal.

Very tasty ... Was looking for a place that was affordable and good food. This was very good. The eggplant parmesan was light and flavorful. My friend had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and thought it was wonderful.

Service was very attentive and courteous. Food was all a little on the salty side. My guest returned her food as she prefers no salt and they did not charge for it. May try again, it may have just been a poor night.

Went there with my wife. The pasta is homemade. I had the shrimp ravioli...it was amazing. The antipasto was very good just didnt have any olive oil for dipping but the vegetables were fresh and very good.
