The first time I went to Manhattans new Olive Garden, I didnt know what to expect. Id never eaten at the chain before, but heard mixed things from others. Practically every night during the month they opened, there was an hour-long wait--which gave me high expectations. Finally, my girlfriend and I visited. The atmosphere was crowded but generally pleasant; however, it seemed like the restaurant couldnt figure out whether it was high or low end. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The food, however, was incredibly average (and thats doing it a favor). The prices, averaging $15 for an entree but much higher if you decide to get fancy, are much too expensive for the quality you receive; I have eaten better in Manhattan for half the money or less. I gave the Garden a second chance more recently to see if things had changed. Our wait was still long for being early in the day and week (~40 mins). This time, however, the food was much worse. I ordered a pasta dish, with penne, shrimp, peppers, and various other dressings. The noodles were cold and dry, the shrimp tasted bland and poorly incorporated, and the peppers werent even properly cooked. The entrees flavor in general was lacking or non-existent. I bagged the other half of my meal to eat at home, thinking it might taste better reheated to a decent serving temperature. Nuking the food--a travesty, for any genuine gourmet meal--helped slightly, but I dont think theres much that could have saved this dish. My friends experience was similar. I will not go back to the Olive Garden.

Food was standard but service was SLOW on this Sunday at 11am First of all I asked if I could be seated at this table near a specific window because we were traveling with a pet and I had the air running in my truck. You would have thought I was asking for the moon because they "had no wait staff for that table" I said "ok that is fine" yet 5 minutes later there were folks seated at that table...must have been a commission thing? Regardless it was no huge deal What was a problem as it turned out was the extremely slow service we got. The waitress seemed unorganized just like a previous reviewer stated. Maybe we had the same one I like Olive Garden. It is a place we like to dine and this property is in the town our twins go to college so we will certainly go back but I am extremely disappointed in the slow service we got on the last Sunday in April 2016

I am being kind by awarding one star. The food was good. My wife ordered her meal with an all you can eat salad. I ordered a chicken parmigiano sandwich with all you can eat soup. My wife shared part of her salad with me. The waitress (Kristen) came by and told us that we couldnt share sides. That if the manager would see this week would have to pay extra. (Up to that point we havent seen a manager) we said thats fine we would like to see the manager. The manager showed up and we explained the situation and he apologized and offered us a gift card and to complete our meal. We didnt take the card and we paid for our meal. Its not the money that matters but the ability to dine in a pleasant atmosphere. This waitress needs to look for a different profession. Something that doesnt involve contact with people. She flat out lied to try to get a larger tip.

After having a terrible experience a few years ago, we decided to give this Olive Garden another chance. The food was exactly what I expected, quick friendly service, clean environment. My only complaint is the tiny amount of food given to a child from the childrens menu.. Anyway! give the kids more food and this is a typically delicious, as expected clean Olive Garden. I am glad I gave them another chance. However, When I posted my review a few years ago. I was private messaged on Facebook. NOT EVEN KIDDING. The messenger said words that are barely allowed on a R movie while criticizing me personally and directly. So I had some mommy pounds.. but hey! thats proof I know good food! Olive Garden should be proud that their employees feel so strongly about their restaurants, but there is a line to be drawn.

The food is good but my complaint is with those table game things. I took my grandkids there and if you have kids you know how hectic that can be. While I was talking to the waitress, the 4 yr old was pushing buttons on that machine. I took it away from her once I finished with the waitress. When I got the bill there was the 1.99 charge for game playing. I told them we did not play any games and they said they didnt have any control over that charge. WHAT? Its in their establishment - set up with their information on everything etc. Anyway, they refused to remove that charge. Its not that 1.99 more is a big deal - Its the principle of it. That is just stealing!

I took my visiting daughter there for a special lunch, following directions of the hostess; we sat in the bar booth area for over 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us.; not even a menu. A waitress collected a tip then another came back and set up the table directly next to us, a hostess then sat another couple, a waitress asked for their drink order, and gave them menus. They both ignored us and wouldnt look in our direction. Three staff members ignored both me and my daughter when they had numerous opportunities to at least address us. We walked out, will not return or recommend. Will take every opportunity to suggest other restaurants in the area.

Very good food and lots of it! In fact, thereshould always something left to bring home for later. The service is usually very good. And you can pay at your table using a machine right there. Pasta dishes highlight the menu along. with beef, chicken, pork and seafood. The appetizers to are abundant and generous. Soup, salad and breads ticks come with the meal. Beverages include many wine and alcoholic beverages. Also flavored teas, coffee, and milk. The most fun is the array of yummy desserts. It is a good idea to call ahead for reservations..

I just wanted to write a good Review. I LOVE MANHATTANS OLIVE GARDEN!!! Since they opened the management has bent over backwards for me! I had soup spill in my car because someone didnt put the lid on correctly. I went back and talked with the manager. They offered to detail my car and have it fully cleaned, gave me a refund for my entire meal, PLUS gave me a two free meals next time. I have never had this great of service anywhere. I highly recommend this place. The food is AMAZING! Never once have I had bad service or bad food.

The staff are inattentive. Every time the manager walked by, you could SMELL him... The bartender was friendly, but like I stated before, inattentive. The food was good and I received complimentary wine tastings because they were throwing out bottles of wine at the end of the night due to expiration. The whole restaurant is very clean. The whole staff was a younger crowd, so maybe thats why the service quality was sub-par.

We just just Manhattan on our way back to Florida...and just had a great lunch. No waiting at the door and got a table just like we hoped for. Our server said he was Denver(alex r.) was really funny. He had our sense of humor and knew his Olive garden stuff. The restaurant was a bit warm but we werent upset too much. The overall experience was great, we left full and happy. Keep up the work Manhattan!
