First experience was rather good. A few of the downs...Music was rather loud, though we contributed this to being later in the evening which is more of a "bar " crowd. Was not greeted when walking in, so was unsure where to sit..again this could be due to time of day. Lastly, the service was great, menus and drinks brought right over. Food brought out in timely manner & plates cleared...but did have to wait awhile to get check though I had my credit card out & ready. Food was GREAT! I had the Pretzel Ham Melt..it was REAL ham, not a cheap deli formed shaved ham. The bun was just as tasty as it sounded & looked. My partner had the chicken strip basket which were homemade chicken tenders..not the frozen Tyson type. Will definitely be back to try a few other items that sounded good on the menu.

We started with their fresh-made guacamole. It was pretty good, but I think next time Id just go with chips and salsa or a completely different appetizer. It wasnt worth writing home about. The Chipotle Bleu Burger comes topped with blue cheese and onion straws. Its fantastic. My wife had a great burger as well. The seasoned waffle fries make a great side. Their signature mixed drinks are good and they have ~8 beers on tap with maybe 50 more in a bottle. I was given the wrong draft beer three times (once my fault, drank it anyway), so make sure youre clear on what youre ordering.

Saints is confused on whether it wants to be a bar or a restaurant. It mostly leans towards the bar type with typical loud ambiance and lots of people just drinking. They do have a patio which is nice and a bit quieter. They have live music sometimes. When I have been there, it was just one guitar player/singer which was nice. We went for dinner, but probably would not go back to eat as it really is more of a bar. The food was decent. Better than most bar food, but not quite as good as an actual restaurant.

We stopped and decided to move on without eating. We were tired and hungry but when we walked in it wasnt what we were expecting, which was more of a Champs or Applebees type place. It just felt a little more focused on the drinking side of eating and drinking than the eating side. Nothing wrong with that, just not what we had hoped for. Judging from the comments, we may want to give it another shot.

The food was good but the margarita was undrinkable. How do you make an undrinkable margarita. Also tried their gold rush and it was worse than the margarita. It tasted like drinking shampoo. Id recommend if you want good food and beers. If you order anything type of cocktail...good luck because its going probably be the worst cocktail youve ever had.

Patricia H was a GREAT server; prompt, friendly, and recommended menu items. The chicken sandwich was very good and not your typical boring type; it had lots of good fresh toppings and came with waffle fries. The Juicy Lucy wasnt as impressive. Two patties with white American cheese in between. Not recommended for purists.

Great variety on the menu. Lots of different options for about any type of casual food you are hungry for. The service was OK but wasnt great. We had to ask for drink refills for example. Nice atmosphere for a sports bar with garage doors that open up to a small patio.

Absolutely would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a friendly sports bar/restaurant in the Waukee area. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and fantastic specials daily! Check this place out during games for the best specials in town!!!!

Fun, family - friendly, tons of screens for any sporting event you can think of. A couple of the waitresses are a bit OVERLY friendly to the menfolk - kinda disconcerting when Im sitting right there, but otherwise, great food, and a whole lotta fun!
