We went to Ruins Pub for my brothers birthday because we are both craft beer enthusiasts. The hostess seemed flustered and couldnt tell us how we would know when our table was ready (it was a Saturday near 6 so we were fine with the wait), but we were able to sit at the bar and drink until she found us to let us know we could sit at a table. The food was AMAZING. Everyone in our party had something different and the reviews were all stellar. We had a great time trying new beers and being in control of our own taps. My mom doesnt drink beer, so she got a habanero margarita and said it was excellent as well. My mom left her credit card there, so we went back a few nights later (just the two of us) and sat at the bar for a couple drinks. The bartender was awesome (we think his name is Justin? Ponytail and facial hair dude... sorry!) and he was comfortable chatting with us and suggesting cocktails for my mom. He even made up a couple of lime drop shots that we thought were delicious! I do recommend checking this place out, even if you dont love beer, because the food is delicious and the cocktails are strong and unique. But go into the experience with the understanding that the service may not be stellar.

At 2:30pm on a Saturday we walked by and saw a sign out front that said happy hour half price apps and wells from 3-6pm. We went to another place for a drink and came back after 3. We were told to sit where ever and after 20 minutes we finally saw a server where we were able to get food. The whole time service was incredibly slow. When we got our ticket it was not discounted as half price. We asked the waitress who could not answer why. The menu and the chalkboard did not specify happy hour was only on weekdays. I asked to talk to a manager just to say they should specify it is weekends only. The manager Amber was rude and said she has never had this happen. All four Tables around us were complaining. She made a point to say that it is over only a few dollars and we shouldnt be asking for a discount. Which I never was. This place advertising false. I was never concerned with the money, but because of the service and management I will never recommend or come here again

Not a bad place. I enjoyed the idea of the beer kiosk but wasnt told on how it all works until I waited around and asked. Seemed like the bartender had quite a bit himself. There were two bartenders and only a few patrons when I was in so it could have been explained a bit better. You get a card that keeps track of the beer you pour. Depending on how they want to do it with you, it will either tally it up and you pay later or you can put a certain amount on the card at a time. Then put that into the tap that you want and pour your glass. I wish it had a place to clean your glass or at least rinse it out. Getting a new glass each time would take a long time since they are so busy. Might as well do it myself (along with pouring my own beer). The atmosphere is pretty cool. There is also an old VW bus that has been cut out and turned into a seating area. That was pretty cool.

Great food love there sandwiches there but the service is the worst. I went in for a late lunch.the places was wasnt busy sat down on a table for about 5 min and no one came to great us at all. So we decided to move to the bar we waited at least 5 min until we ask the bar tender for menus. But it still was about 10 min befor i got a soda but the bar tender didnt ask my partner for a drink he did get one most until we got our lunch we had to ask for everything so unprofessional. We went in for a fast lunch end up being there almost 2 hr. From start to finish. So the worst thing was that they had 3 bar tender at bar 2 waitress a food runner and top of that a bust guy. And the places wasnt busy at all there was onlying 6 ppl at the bar including us wtf that places service sucks but great food I hope they can fix the problem.

Serve your own beer! Interesting concept and up to this point I had never operated a beer tap. Everyone I have taken here loves it as you have the opportunity to try everything you want and not have to invest in to a full pour. The food has been mixed on the other hand. The first time I went, the burger was fantastic, not run of the mill. The second time was ok and the third was a bit disappointing with the flavor and overcooked nature of the food being off, which is the reason for my lower rating. Not sure if they have had turnover with their staff or what but hopefully they can pick the quality back up. Either way, I would highly recommend this place for at least a couple drinks after work with friends.

Asked my niece to take me to a place with a great craft beer selection and she picked this locale. She and her husband are hip and trendy, and this place is hip and trendy. Downstairs are pool tables and indoor bocce ball courts along with an inviting bar. We sat and ate at the bar, where she was known by the bartender ( how often do they hang out here???!!). I opted for a nice Boulevard IPA, The Calling, which I paired with a lamb gyro burger. Both were very good. After a couple more tasty craft beers we moved on, but would definitely like to come back here and put some quarters on the table and hit the bocce court. I recommend the extensive beer selection which included some offerings fom Georgia.

Great concept, poor execution. They have 40 self-serve taps, but 12 of these were gone when I went on a Friday afternoon. This made the beer menus almost worthless, since you werent sure if the beer was still available or not. Not to mention, you could go try to serve yourself a beer, the keg might be gone, but you will still get charged for pulling to try... That seemed really shady to me. Only lost about $5 because of that, but still. If youre actually a fan of craft beer, be warned that they keep these blown kegs on the menu to make it more appealing. Good chance it wont be there when you go. In my experience, the food has been good and the service has been terrible.

The concept of this pub is a great idea. The night I visited it was very poorly executed. Or service was terrible, and it wasnt busy, so that is not an excuse. Her was just not really present during the entire visit, if you wanted to order food or a drink you had to beckon him over, same with getting the check. There was no beer list or price list, so you had to just go tap on each individual beer to find out more. The food was okay, but not great. The staff that served and bussed the table was very attentive. I might go back to give it another shot, but I am skeptical. If the quality of service was again what it was tonight I would never go back.
