I visited tonight and it was busy. I was at the restraunt about an hour and never got a refill. I normally drink 3 cups of pop during a meal out. When my waiter finally came with the bill I asked for at least half the pop price to be taken off my bill because I never got a refill. He ended up taking the whole pop off. When I was checking out the other guy asked me how it was and I said it was okay. He asked why it was just okay and I told him that I didnt get a refill but my waiter ended up taking it off the bill. He told me that it was the weekend and that they were busy. I wasnt even going to bring up the issues that happened, but he asked and then made an excuse. Food was excellent but not sure if I will be back due to the service.

Best Mexican food Ive had since moving to the Des Moines area hands down. Feel free not to believe me though, that way I wont have to stand in line next time I go. The guacamole is one of the best Ive ever had. The salsa blows away the ketchup that passes for salsa at other locals Ive been to. The marinade they cook the meat in is intensely flavorful. Ive been back three times since discovering it a few weeks ago.

We have attempted this place a couple of times. The food is always pretty good . However , the service is terrible . They are very slow to take your order and bring your food . Tonight we sat there for almost 25 minutes after we finished eating before they brought the check . After finally paying the bill , the waiter chased us outside to comment on the lower then average tip he was given . I dont plan to return .

Best Mexican food and margaritas in the Des Moines area. The staff is very friendly and really take care of their customers. My husband and I have been loyal customers for over a year and we both have taken our friends and family. Never a disappointment!

Great people.. Great food.. Ask for OSCAR! He gives the best service. Try the "Trio" dinner.. Steak, chicken, shrimp, rice and beans.. Comes with tortillas,, Yum! I go there all the time with my coworkers. Great times!

I my I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. Love going there due to the ambiance and the waiters (Oscar, Jose and Miguel) The Salsa is great! We go there tooo frequently to share how many times a week...lol.

Best Mexican food Ive had in central Iowa! Authentic flavor, wide variety of dishes, good rice and great quality cheese. Best Chile relleno Ive had in a long time, and excellent choripollo/chorizo. Friendly service.

As far as Ive found, this is the best Mexican food in town. Skip the chains, and come in over to the east side. The Carnitas, Pollo Loco, and Burrito Mexicano are all amazing, and dont forget to order cheese dip!
