We went here after discovering we only had one child home and I was craving fajitas. We sat at the attractive bar and thought we would have a margarita while waiting for our table. No such luck. We were walked by many times with no one taking an order. We were seated and brought fresh chips and salsa. Nice! So I thought. The chips were great but the salsa was tasteless. I dont think there was any cilantro and minimal jalapenos in it. Perfect for people in Buffalo. I ordered the steak fajitas and they looked great! I was so excited! I could look past the margarita and the salsa. One taste and I was so disappointed. Besides salt, the food was very bland. Having lived in Texas and Minneapolis, where Mexican food is abundant so they have to be good to stay in business, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pros of this place is that they do have a decent margarita, the decor is wonderful and the waitstaff works really hard.

My wife and I went to Bugambilias this past Friday (3-17-17) and we had a great time. It started with a prompt service to get us to our booth and then the waitress took our drink orders right away. While she was getting the drink we looked at the menu. As I was trying to decide what I wanted I noticed that all the waitresses and waiters were very proactive, meaning they werent just standing around. They were cleaning tables and sweeping and making sure the customers were being served if needed. So now we had decided what we wanted and they came and took out order and gave us our drinks. Our food came very quick. We had the fajitas and they were amazing. And after that we had the Chimi-Cheesecake, also incredibly good. So in conclusion, I have to say our whole visit was splendid and the customer service was top of the line. We will definitely be going back.

As a former restraurant owner coming from the west coast, Im used to having tons of different and authentic cuisines to choose from. Sadly such is not the case in a small town like Buffalo. Except with regards to Bugambilias. Thankfully we tried Bugambilias and we couldnt be happier that we did. My only regret is that we didnt try it sooner! Bugambilias offers not just the best Mexican food Ive had since coming to the Midwest, but also hands down the single best restaurant experience (customer service) in not just Buffalo but central Minnesota. Carlos and his staff have done a great job and made Bugambilias our favorite place to go for dinner out. Muchas gracias por la comida y el servicio consistentemente increíble! Bugambilias es nuestro lugar favorito para ir!

Fantastic Mexican with a full Bar! A large margarita in the back ground. The wife and I walked in around 1:30pm Wed. and had the place to ourselves. Not sure why, this Mexican place rocks! I had Los Pipillos and my wife had the lunch fajitas. Chips and salsa were served before the meal. Though the chips were made in house, I thought they were just a bit above average. The large Margarita was outstanding and more than enough for 2 to share. They offer a happy hour from 2-6, Ill be back for that for sure! Best mexican place in town. The owner is a 2006 grad and can make up some fantastic food; come check it out for yourself. Atmosphere is quaint and comfortable too. Love the music, tables, and paint job. I recommend the fajitas. (The wifey.)

Bugambilias is Buffalos latest mexican restaurant (now 3 in town). The owner worked at Rancho Grande before opening his own place. The menu is traditional mexican with a few variations thrown in. It isnt your typical numbered meal ordering which is a nice change. A handful of dishes are served in a carved out pineapple for added presentation and flavor and the burritos Ive tried are good. Nice bar area and enjoy all of the hand painted walls and tables by the owner.

So good! The fiancee is very picky about his mexican food, hes considering staying in Mn for work because of this restaurant. He loves it and so do I. Only recently discovered it and after being told by many of my co workers to try it I finally did. Best. Decision. Ever. The food has been awesome every time and I would recommend it to anyone who asks. I pray they stay! Its been two years since Ive had a favorite mexican restaurant where I simply just crave the food.

Great experience!!!! Food was super delicious and reasonably priced. Huge amounts of food too, we had lots of leftovers. The waiter (I think his name was Luis) was sweet and very attentive. Kept our drinks full and even did a few magic tricks for us, which the kids loved. We will definitely be back!!!! Best dining experience in quite a while, maybe ever!!! Anyone who had a negative experience... give it another try.

Ive heard great things about this place but was highly disappointed. I ordered the t bone steak. It was presented nicely with sauteed onions and mushrooms with shrimp but was tough and overcooked with lots of gristle. My wife ordered the pineapple with chicken which was pretty good. Im not sure Ill be back.

Flaming fajitas are the best hands down. The only complaint I have quite frankly is the fact that they never have once provided everything in our take out orders. They truly need a dedicated takeout order employee who speaks a bit clearer English and I think the problem would be solved. The food is great

The restaurant is way bigger than expected. Plenty of room for dining and getting drinks at the bar. Service was amazing! I seriously saw our server running to get our food! The food was super fresh, creative, and delicious!!! We will definitely be back!!

We were there for my wifes birthday last Saturday for the first time. Fast service, delicious food, great servers. This place is a hidden gem in Buffalo! It is very nice not having to drive too far for a great eatery like this. Well be back again.

Was not impressed by their customer service to me. Had to ask for things that could have been done without asking. However, other tables were being served quite quick and efficient. Other than that food is delicious. So that balances it out.

Staff are always very friendly and good is fresh and delicious. This isnt your typical "drown everything in bland sauce" restaurant. Try anything with their delicious pulled pork and I recommend all their dishes containing pineapple.

Our family of 5 LOVED the food and service! The menu options are unique from many other Mexican restaurants yet still had the traditional dishes too. Their home made salsa was awesome as well. We would highly recommend coming here.

Best Mexican restaurant in town. They have a big menu and food is always fresh. Staff is friendly and I would definitely recommend it to everyone that loves Mexican food. Best one in buffalo and of the best in Minnesota for sure.

It wasnt just one of the best Mexican restaurants Ive ever been to, it was one of the best restaurants, period. Absolutely amazing fajitas and an awesome and authentic flan for dessert. Wish I lived closer.
