Interesting and good food, wine and beer from a owner who cares. This was my first time at the Lincoln Wine Bar; I was brought there by my Los Angeles Friend who visits Cedar Rapids every couple of months. The food is unique, the pizzas baked in an authentic Neapolitan oven, and the the owner had us try bottled beer before we purchased. The bartender serving the fellow sitting two bar stools down from me was also giving him a tasting. I dont believe this is the owners general practice but it does explain why his place is so good.

Wood fired oven...impressive imported wine selection.I think there is live music most evenings. I visited with 4 other folks for an office dinner on a Thursday evening. We reached before 6pm,were done by 7...place started getting crowded by then. Heard Fridays are crazy crowded...go in early. Seating is very limited but service is fast. Little gem tucked away in Mt Vernon.

Very hip joint! Some of the best pizza in Eastern Iowa - wood fired, thin crust, local fresh ingredients and a constantly revolving menu. Always a good surprise to be had on the food and the wine menu is constantly at a high level of quality. Small, fun and often has live music. If you want to make your night feel special, definitely consider this place.

We tried green and smoked margarita pizza, it was amazing, such a nice place, amazing ambience and customer service is nice too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves pizza. It is different because they have brick oven which made pizza extra delicious. Love this place.

Seating is limited and the acoustics make it difficult to hold conversation when theyre busy in the evenings. The pizza is the best in town, although not the best in the area. I give four stars because the ingredients are high quality, but its not worth the extra trip from Iowa City to me.
