with so many other dive bars in Iowa City steer clear of club car!! unless youre a regular forget about it, they hate visitors, and the beer is suspect-mine had something floating in it like the tap lines hadnt been cleaned in quite some time! They also hate Hawkeye fans!!??!!

Very protective of their parking, even before noon on a weekday. Makes me wonder what kind of clientele they cater to (and whether said clientele should really be driving). I might have given the place a try sometime, but they lost my business in the lot.

I dont get here often theres a lot of options in Iowa City but if I have an opportunity I like to show up on Tuesday evenings the bartender is a good guy seems to know the clientele and its a very relaxing and fun environment
