Too bad I cant give negative stars. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I went through the drive through on June 27, 2015 around 2:30. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Tendercrisp meal with a Dr. Pepper. I got my Dr. Pepper first and it tasted disgusting. They must never clean the soda machines. I was the only person in the drive through yet waited over 15 minutes to get my food. I got to the stop light and checked my bag and there were no fries in the bag. I had to turn around and go back to get my fries. I left BK again and was a few blocks away when I opened my sandwich at a stop light. This sandwich is supposed to have: Chicken, bacon, bbq sauce, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and cheese. I thought my sandwich looked a bit strange so opened it up to find... a piece of chicken with bbq sauce and thats it. I was furious. I would have had to gone back to this poor excuse for a business a THIRD TIME if I wanted the food I actually ordered and paid over 7.00 for. I was already far away and did not want to go back. NOR WILL I EVER GO BACK THERE. That is the worst service I have ever had in my life and unless you want the shittiest food in Iowa City and people who cant be bothered to actually give you what you ordered, then go ahead and check it out.

Terrible, never going back!! I have been to this location before, and it was really good. So i decided to go through the drive thru a few days ago and i ordered the A1 Cheeseburger. As i look at my sandwich, theres a small half slice of cheese hidden in between the patties. The toppings only included 2 small old peices of bacon, and A1 sauce. As the picture included tomatos onions and mayo. When i brought my sandwich inside the manager and the customers were all very rude, gave me nasty looks the whole time i was inside. I was going to ask for my money back but settled for a peice of cheese, took the horrible looking (and gross tasting) sandwich back to my car and left. This place has horrible customer service and makes you feel unwelcome. (even though the irony is... Im not the one working a crap job and serving fast food). And so, i will not be returning to Iowa City Burger King. Guess Ill be going to McDonalds instead!

This Burger King location just underwent a remodel and I just stopped in for breakfast (sausage & egg breakfast croissant meal) and it was quite good! Top that off with the manager that was helping a new trainee at the window and understanding that I make little sense until I get the coffee that Im ordering into my body. They were understanding and went above and beyond the call to make sure I was leaving happy this morning (and that is a tall order by the way). Id say this location has really stepped it up! Update: They are often understaffed. Jan 17th 2017 Joan was working the drive though by herself. Infact she was the only person working the front that morning at 8am! One person in the drive though actually left due to a long line. She is an older woman and works her heart out!

Fast food reviews are difficult because the staff changes so much in these places, but this Burger King has been pretty on point for my the last 6 months or so. I always check my order before driving off, and its always all there. Of course tonight I didnt check and got home to find one of my sandwiches absent. My kid was already eating, and it wouldnt be worth the gas going back, so I called. I was polite, and the manager was too, and Im getting a free meal on my next visit. So for now, it seems like the place is pretty good.

Had a terrible experience here. I ordered biscuits & gravy. When I got my order, the gravy was as thin as water and the biscuits were soaking wet soggy blobs of dough, obviously not suitable for serving, but the idiots working thought it was okay. When I went back for an explanation, the manager said "Oh yea, we added too much water accidentally." So I asked the obvious question "Then why did you serve this to me?", to which she replied "its still edible". I demanded a refund and have never eaten at Burger King again.

I couldve sworn this location was 24 hours so hard that I drove 3 miles to get there and all the lights were off. They insisted I patronize their direct competitor McDonalds thats ALWAYS open, even though I wanted Burger King. The brand had me sold, the food had me sold, but they were not available for the customer and they lost my business today and Ill second guess whether the classically 24 hour location is open or not every time I contemplate getting Burger King in the future.

Really need to work on speed and organization! They are at least ten orders behind. . And not filling them in order- plus the shift manager just filled the same order twice! This is ridiculous, you need to be able to pick up the pace during meal rushes! Looks like two workers stepped in for the manager and is now whipping the orders out fast. . One had a name like Laquita (she was moving too fast for me to see her badge) and another man with thick glasses.. amazing

This restaurant chain is really slow getting your food to you and most of the time your order is not even right. One day one of the cashiers had to go get the manager to help her count back my change and then she cried and walked off. Most of the staff is friendly, but they should speed up service.

Nuggets were cold as ice. Manager kept filling other orders with the food prepared for mine. And he kept blaming the crew for what was his mistake. He did the same thing to two other people waiting in line at the same time. When we tried to point it out, he said " be patient , its coming, we got it!"

Worst Burger King Ive ever been to. Wheres the zero star button? The workers are hard to understand and screwed up the order. Not to mention the food was unfresh despite a steady flow of customers coming in.

The food here is really disgusting, it just doesnt taste right at all !. They use too much salt . However, I see they have rebuild the whole restaurant so maybe there is a new better management .

Not only do you have to check your bag to make sure everything is there, but apparently you also have to unwrap each burger to make sure that they are more then just "beef" and bread.
