Ok so took my whole family out to eat here in Eau Claire last night. Wow $56 not worth it really not worth it. First one of the main reasons I go is I love their apple crisp but I am getting a head of myself. We get there and wait to even pay. Oh there was no one in line the worker was just missing. Next the steak was nasty. The ham was dry as a bone. The chicken was not even cooked all the way. Plus side the broccoli soup was delicious. The roast beef was bloodier than heck which I usually like mine med. Ok now for dessert my daughter got the oreo pie and she wouldnt even eat it. It almost tasted sour somehow. Apple crisp the apples were hard. Pumpkin pie hmmm not sure who the heck thought a watery, runny thing could be called pumpkin pie. Oh and the guy finally cleaned off the plates from our table when we were ready to leave. There was hardly anyone in there no reason for it. This is the 3rd time I have gone and the food and service was crap. Sorry wont be coming back.

My family was very uncomfortable with the kitchen staff and kitchen manager there. The kitchen manager gave my mom his number and proceeded to tell the rest of the kitchen staff about it and made us very uncomfortable. Along with that uncomfortable experience the breakfast food was cold. This was the worst experience we have had here and were not impressed. The kitchen staff is very unprofessional. The kitchen staff made it quiet obvious they were gossiping about customers, and staring at them. We will definitely be avoiding this restaurant from now on.

The cost for really crap food is way too much. 65 dollars for two adults and three kids. Way too much to pay for food that is barely palatable. The mac and cheese had the consistency of mashed potatoes and was gritty. The chicken was undercooked. The fish was incredibly fishy. In addition to horrible food, if you want drinks also it will add about 10 dollars to your bill for two adults and three kids. Its not worth it. Bathrooms are always very dirty. Food serving areas not kept attractively clean. You can get better food cheaper at McDonalds.

It wasnt bad but it wasnt the greatest. Even drove all the way back down to give it a second go, when I asked the manager about whats happened to good ol country buffet, he apologized, refunded or meals and continued to let us dine, manager was great but on route back home to hayward I only made it to New auburn before I literally pooped my pants much to my families dismay. I apologize and thank those great people at the gas station for there understanding and helpfulness. We wont be back to dine anytime soon.

This was by far our worst experience here. Went to dine here on 4/10 for my sons birthday. The food was extremely bland, and my chicken breast was way undercooked. We told management about this as my little kids were eating the chicken he did not apologize he just snatched the breast and said we cook them for an hour Ill look into it. We love coming here but after last night we may never return, Im glad and they should be too that I didnt end with salmonella due to undercooked chicken....Yuck

The food was delicious, as usual, although I wish there would be a baked potato available every lunch time, since we are vegetarian and that is our main course. Unfortunately, last time we were there our waitress did not introduce herself or write her name on our receipt and there were lots of tables not bussed. (I believe we showed up right after a busload of school children had left). There also was not a very large selection of desserts. But all in all it was a fairly good experience.

I wish there was a better discount for Seniors for the Lunch Special because we do not see many seniors at the restaurant like we use to - even the people at our table are talking about finding some place else - we ourselves have ventured out to look for another place - however we like the staff - everyone is very nice - the menu has changed and it is not to a lot of peoples liking - Thanks for hearing me - Take it for what it is worth -

Can tell big difference between during the week and the weekend. Staff is more friendly on the weekend. Alot of the food was hard. The girls only cleaned off our table once didnt say a word. We had a group of 11 so you can imagine the plates piled on the table. Were to busy talking and on their phones. And only 5 tables with people so very empty compared to other times Ive been here and had better service and food.

Even for a buffet the food was gross. It tasted like everything was not only a week old, but like nothing was ever taken out of its spot at the end of the night. My own vomit tastes like a three course meal from a fine dining establishment comparatively. Would not recommend, if at least for your own health, dont even look in the direction of this resteraunt.

Love the breakfast, but they take it away too fast. Wish breakfast were more of the day on Sundays rather than abruptly ending at 11am. Some menu items are a little dry. The service is quick. Food is fresh. The breakfast thing is really important to me, so it gets 3 stars because thats the biggest reason we ever go there.

Good food, reasonable prices, assistance from staff to make single parenting as enjoyable as having a partner there to help, from getting drinks to bringing coloring sheet & crayons plus on kids night they have a movie going, extra treats, and other things so parents do not have to worry while kids of all ages socialize!

Its hard to rate this place. Sometimes the food is excellent, sometimes it tastes like other peoples leftovers. Ive always had friendly servers, but sometimes the place is quite messy. For some reason, this is every kids favorite place to go, so we continue to give them our business, and hope its one of the "good"nights.

Staff was awesome, the restrooms smelled like an outhouse, taco meat was nasty and old tasting as was the blue cheese sealed dressing. We got charged for diner and were done with lunch before they got the good meats out. It seams they raised the prices and dropped there food quality. WILL NEVER BE BACK !!!!

Went there for my birthday. It was very poor food salad bar was about the only thing fit to eat from. Way to pricy for something ud find at a cheap asian buffet. I was hoping for the great food they used to have 10 years ago. Very disappointed wont be going back ever

We love eating here,but what we really miss is for awhile you could come and just buy the salad bar for a slightly lower cost. It was great for a quick healthy lunch on a busy day. Would love love love it if you would consider putting this option back on.

Yuck yuck yuck!! Way to expensive for really crappy food. Not only was the food cold and soggy there was A HAIR in my mashed potatoes. The staff was picking food with their fingers as they walked by and the bathrooms are disgusting. Very disappointed.
