You walk in, no one greets you. Theres no please wait to be seated sign and no one at the bar or hostess stand. Other people were there too. Once seated it took 20 min to get 2 bar drinks and during that neither the waitress or anyone came to our table. However we saw the manager, owner sitting down talking to several people after we heard her state to the waitress she needed to make the bar drinks. I didnt get everything I ordered and the food was mostly TERRIBLE. the soup is good and so are the appetizers but my mother had an entree and my husband had a sandwich and both were disgusting and cold. The bar drinks were long islands and you could tell were made from a watered down premixed substance. Ive tried to go there another time... Same exact type of situation. I called and complained and we were offered a free meal each... We ordered the steaks to go and ate at home instead. Much better idea. Its far too cramped in there.... I will never give them a 3rd chance...everything there is so unorganized and no one knows how or seems to want to do their job.

Dined at the Corn Patch Friday evening, what a small town gem! The food and service were top drawer then when we requested the check....we were informed that someone had taken care of it and wanted to remain annonymous! This is utterly amazing as we were visiting Grimes having a mother/daughter night out as moms 92 birthday is this month. We did NOT know anyone in town or the restaurant! God bless you for making our visit such a memorable occasion. Please consider supporting this wonderful establishment.

We went to grab lunch at 1135 and got 2 meals. It took us about 25 minutes to 30 minutes to get our food. We had to pick our daughter up from school, since it took so long we didnt get a chance to sit down and eat and got it to go. My wife got a salad when we were at the restaurant and it had a hair in it. We did not get a chance to tell the waitress until we saw her 10 minutes after getting the salad and asked for our food to go. Bad experience

Man, that potato soup really hit the spot. On a scale 1-10 I give it 11. It looked really good then I took a spoonful of the soupy awesomeness and shoved in my mouth. It was like a mouthgasm but better. I recommend this to all of the soup lovers out there. It made poop come out purple and it was amazing. I can wait to come and try the soup because Ive never ate there before.

Food was WAY over priced, not to mention that their dinner menu is twice the size of their lunch menu and having everything overpriced on the weekends was even more disappointing. The food was alright, definitely not something I would pay an arm and a leg for. Honestly was super disappointed, probably couldve gone to an actual fancy restraint and paid less than here.

We went there after an outing because we heard it was pretty good. All 5 of us got the special of chicken noodles over mashed potatoes. It was served with an appetizer of potato soup. The food was ok but not great and certainly not worth $14 dollars a person. The greeter cussed openly at our server(I have two children in this group.) Wont be going back here again.

Omg this place is awesome!!! They give you homemade potato soup as a free appetizer. It was great! Ordered fried chicken, it was great and huge. Hubby had the prime rib steak. It was as advertised, 16oz! Large portions at affordable prices. Ate here on a livingsocial deal. From out of town and will surely be back!!

Absolutely delicious and cant beat supporting a local business! The portions are huge and every meal comes with their homemade potato soup and warm bread! The service was super nice and very fast. Best liver and onions Ive found in this area! Highly recommend the Corn Patch!

We bought a Groupon so this was our 1st time trying the corn patch. Happy with the fried chicken, onion rings and homemade potato soup that comes with your meal. Our server was great. She made us feel welcome. She made me a fresh pot of coffee and food was pretty fast.

We love this place. The soup is fantastic. The hostess is always smiling greets us. The food is always hot and with good to large size portions. The beef and noodles is fantastic along with the fried chicken. At dinner you cant beat the bottomless soup with your meals.

We visited for lunch on a weekday. Service was quick, food was reasonably priced and tasty. I plan on returning. The only issue was that the credit card machine was not working and could only take debit cards.

Went with a party of 4. Waitress brought three peoples food out and after 10 minutes we had to ask for the 4th persons food. Should never have to ask for food. Great food, just service was a little off.

This place was awful, sat there with no service, until we just got up and left, the place wasnt busy and we were passed by waitresses multiple times! Never going here again!

Delicious home made cooking. The potato soup has tender potatoes and is very flavorful. I love the family style serving. The bread is served warm and soft.

Food was good, but a bit on the pricier side considering what you get (food/atmosphere) compared to other restaurants in the metro.
