If you have Celiac Disease or you remain gluten free for MEDICAL purposes, this post is for you. I recently moved to Iowa from Arizona. I found Chipotle while living in Arizona and they were AMAZING at not making it a big deal that I had to be gluten free, due to Celiac Disease, not a fad diet. They would change gloves, wash their hands, pull the lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsa from the fridge; because it hadnt been contaminated by the gluten from the tortillas yet. They would pull the spoons from anything else I wanted to eat and replace them with new ones. This was a customary service for their customers with gluten problems. They were the only place I would eat out because I never got sick and they were extremely accommodating. I frequented Chipotle in Arizona, sometimes more than once a week. Here in Ankeny, however, this hasnt been the case. Today one of the employees threw a tantrum after touching my food with her contaminated gloves. I explained to her that I have Celiac Disease, not a fad diet, I literally can not have the gluten touch anything I consume. She then yelled at a coworker in front of the 5 of us in line and the customers seated and eating. I was completely embarrassed and angry that I have been an advocate for this restaurant because they are so accommodating to those of us that cant go anywhere to eat. Any and everytime I go out to eat, its been at Chipotle. Unfortunately, this particular location does not even come close to the service I was accustomed to in Arizona. I will be trying the Jordan Creek location next time, hopefully they will be more understanding.

Wow! Talk about service and satisfaction! Phil was the first to greet me and my wife. He had a beaming smile which was evident of the love he has for the food he prepares and the willingness to help his Ankeny customers. Associates such as Phil are a crucial stepping stone for a new restaurant in a competitive food industry. His manager was a female and forgive me for not remembering get name. When I had an important inquiry about my order she shook my hand, introduced herself, and answered my question with a quick and comprehensive response. The food was phenomenal and the bench top space served us very comfortably. Chipotle in Ankeny is off to a good start and will be an example aa the flagship store in the Des Moines area.

Love this Chipolte location! I go in their several times a month and have gotten to know the staff (not by name) They are all so smiley and always looking like they are having a great day, no matter how long their line is they provide top notch customer service. This is a main reason as to why I continue to return ❤❤

Weve visited a handful of times and have been pleased with the quality during every visit. Its a newer location and so far seems to run efficiently. I always get the steak burrito or bowl so I cant comment on any of the other meats.

They almost always get my order wrong, or mess it up somehow. My stepdad went in to get us dinner, and the person working yelled at him for ordering a quesaritto since it wasnt on the menu.
