On the Rox was an interesting experience, not quite anything I expected. Maybe the fact that Im not from around this area contributed to my opinion, but it just seemed slightly odd. Youd have to be looking for this bar to find it. Its sightly off the main road, not well advertised, and the parking lot isnt lit or very accommodating. Entering the bar, I paid a $5 cover. Odd, as it wasnt a club, and didnt seem to have anything special going on. Bartender was busy and wasnt really able to be attentive it seemed. All the bartenders smoked and drank while working, which I find highly distasteful. They werent particularly friendly, but they were efficient. The bar was loud, and got to the point that I left as soon as they brought in live music. I couldnt hear my friends sitting a foot away from me. The bar area, and the entire dining area, wasnt very large. They wouldnt serve a Three Wisemen or Four Horsemen, which disappointed me; however, they did provide the drinks for me to mix it myself. The BBQ pork sandwich and appetizer sampler I got were OK, but nothing to write home about. There was, what appeared to be, a team playing darts nearby. They had several pool tables and electronic dartboards in the main bar. All in all, likely one of the better bars in the area, but I wasnt enthralled by the experience. Good for just a quick drink.

On the Rox has totally changed up the scenary! They have a beautiful new front bar, a great new menu and a beautiful outdoor patio with acoustic music on Fridays!! They usually have live music on Saturday nights and are the only dance bar in the area with an inhouse DJ and large dance floor !! Food is great !!

I work for fear Fair. Lee host a few events here every year. The prices are good. You dont have to worry about any trouble the bouncers are always on it. Everyone is super friendly. And theres two different parts of the bar. So someone you dont like is at the bar you can go to the other side

Amazing food, generosity to long time cuatomers. They recognize you and make sure youre having an awesome time. Thursday volleyball and karaoke, best time to go!!
