I hate to give bad reviews, but I need to post this one. A group of friends and myself (8 total) had lunch there Sunday afternoon. Kara was our waitress and did a great job. Several of our group left after lunch and a few of us stayed to order more rounds. Close to 3:00/4:00 our server left and a new server (dont know her name or else I would post it) took over. From the start she was very stand off-ish and generally unpleasant. Our group had some others join throughout the afternoon. We were there for a LONG time, but had been continually ordering drinks and some appetizers in between. One of our friends cashed out and apparently left a zero tip. This was unfortunate, as I waited tables for 9 years and will never leave nothing, but nonetheless this happened. After this friend payed out and left, the bartender came to the table and gave another in our group a hard time over smoking an e-cig. There was some resistance from the e-cig smoker, but he eventually obliged and no longer smoked the e-cig at the table. A bit later the server came to our table and told us that the bartender told us we couldnt be served anymore. We said fine since that was our last round. A few minutes later they were telling us we had to leave. I questioned the reason and they said just the friend smoking the e-cig had to leave, but later it was clear our entire group was being asked to leave. My suspicion was that this was being spurred by the friend in our group that didnt leave a tip on her $13 tab. (Throughout the day our group had around $250-$300 in total tabs). While I dont condone her non-tippingness, this shouldnt affect the service to the rest of the table. The bartender and the server no longer served us and the server cleared the glasses and plates I was still eating and drinking from. I hate to give a bad review to this place just because of some disgruntled server/bartender because I do like their food, but I was pretty put aside by the way the whole thing went down. I wish I had their names to call them out. Ill update this later after I find out who they were. As of now, Im not sure I will eat there again. I just hate that some crappy servers can put such a foul taste in my mouth. Like I said, I will call them out by name when I find out who they were. They are the ones who are really getting the bad review, not the establishment. But the management should pay attention.

Ive never been a big fan of this place but had my final visit and will not be going back. 2 beers down I have a third. About half way through I notice a pretty good chip out of the rim of the glass with a crack going down it. The spikey hair mohawk guy comes over and says something like, thats not good, would you like another. I say sure as there was half a beer left and I figured hed at least replace this one. We ask for the bill, and I say I had the 3 Guninness. The bill arrives and Im charged for 4 beers. I thought there was some unspoken thing about a chipped/cracked glasses and free replacements. I expected to be billed for 3 or maybe even a cool guy billing for 2 due to the situation but certainly not 4. I mention it and I said I had 3 not 4. He says I had most of the one in the bad glass. In interest of time I just paid and got moving. In the grand picture its just a little money but its crappy.

Awesome service and I really love the atmosphere. I took a swing at a pub staple and ended up with a big miss. The fries were out of the box frozen seasoned fries and were passable. Tartar sauce was good. The fish was a decent flakey cod. The batter on it was pretty poor. It was piping hot (a good sign) but ultimately like soft greasy doughnuts in the mouth. There should be a bit of crunch on that first bite with a flakey white inside. It wasnt to be found. Ill give it another shot because of the beer selection and service. I hope the kitchen is up to the task next time.

Horrible experience! We were walked past with no acknowledgement 6 times by 2 different employees. I finally asked for a server and Corey came 10 minutes later. Never a refill. Never a, "how is everything?" Great food for the 1 star but would never return. We were the only table in the restaurant! Customer service isnt hard-Corey needs to find a new industry!

I had the portobello mushroom fries, and they were yummy. Id highly recommend their wings too, in their original sauce. Those are probably my favorite thing. The cheeseburger pizza is yummy too, and so epically cheesy. The service is always pleasant, and the place has a cool atmosphere. It can get pretty crowded, but was really dead on Sunday night.

Aside from the great service, Chatham Tap has quite possibly thee best wings in Indianapolis. As an avid wing fanatic, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed! Even the to-go wings had a better presentation than most restaurants when dining in! Great restaurant, ice-cold beer, great food and excellent service!

Hands down the best bar in Indy. Atmosphere: Superb, both during soccer games and not. Food: Spectacular. In my opinion, both the best pizza AND best wings in Indy. So delicious. Beer: Always rotating taps featuring good, local breweries (and some not so local). There really is nothing to not love about Chatham Tap.

Just went to Chatam Tap for the first time because a friend and I were right down the street and in the mood for a beer. Very laid back bar which is the kind I enjoy. Great beer, local and otherwise. Bonus points: soccer on TV. I can only imagine how awesome this place would be during the World Cup

This is my go-to spot downtown. The staff is beyond gracious, while simultaneously not putting up with any BS. They work like a team, and the food is consistently awesome and always cooked in a reasonable timeframe. Love this place forever! Beer selection is streamlined and worth ones while too.

Great place. Domestics were a fair $3. Pizza order was for a large, was brought a small. They charged the small then brought out a large pizza on them! Just this gesture will have us come back. One of the few places on the pretentious Mass ave that does not openly screw the patron.

Best soccer (real football) bar in Indianapolis, period. The drinks selection is great, the food is great, and you can watch any game u want, what else can you ask for? Customer service is also exceptional, especially for a bar full of people yelling at a TV screen and singing

Very good food but service is starting to lack a bit. Seems like they think they are doing ME a favor by taking my money. The young hip non smiling waiters might be the "new normal" on Mass Ave and by the way, the correct response to "thank you" is "youre welcome" not "yep"!!
