What a terrible experience. First, we ate here on a Sunday, and it appears the booth behind ours was the hang out spot for all the staff who werent working. We were fortunate enough to hear all about who slept where the previous night. There were 2 members of staff we found particularly intimidating: one rather big guy with a beard who kept going back to the kitchen to shout at his bros, and a twitchy looking blonde girl were both clearly on something the night before, or were just getting their Sunday night started. They were up and down and in and out the kitchen the whole time we were there. Second, the food was awful. Initially, we ordered a California Roll and the Reuben. A full 10 minutes after we ordered, our waitress was able to drag herself away from the social gathering behind us to inform us they were out of the corned beef. Another 15 minutes later, we got the California Roll and Mac & Cheese. The Mac & Cheese was gloopy and conjealed like it was store bought and cooked in a microwave: Id have been better eating out of a gas station. It also came with what appeared to be chopped, grilled hot dogs on top. Id been told by a couple of locals to give this place a miss, but Id read some reviews and thought it sounded like a good place to try a few local craft beers. The beer selection was basically 4-6 names scrawled on a chalk board up in a dark corner, with no description of what they were (the diesel oil stout was below average). I dont normally review a place unless it has something exceptional or original, this is the first negative review Ive ever written, and its fully deserved. If I could, Id give CBs zero stars. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else around town.

Best burger, best salad and best beer in town! This is the "Cheers" of Columbus. Even if its your first visit, you will leave feeling like your part of the family. And speaking of family, there is also a family side so feel free to bring the kiddos. Mine loves the loaded fries. As part of Powerhouse Brewery, Columbus Bar (or CB) always has amazing local craft beer on tap from their own brewery. Plus, they bring in guest taps and have a full bar.

Always the best. Hope they have Two-Hearted or Alpha King. Jack the Bum is very good as well. If you order the mini tenderloin and think your going to get a sandwich like something from White Castle, think again. The regular size tenderloin sandwich is a meal in its self, but try the home made onion rings. Always a great place to meet friends, have lunch, or spend an evening.

The experience is quite pleasant, the ambiance is like a typical bar. The bartender Mike is a really great guy and knows how to keep his customers. The food is typical bar food, sandwiches, burgers and sides. The hot sauce here is extremely spicy and they sell it as well. It is specially made for them and I love it.

Their pork tenderloin is fantastic. I make it a habit to try tenderloin at each restaurant I visit in Indiana, and theirs is among the best. The beers are okay - IPA heavy if you like that. There is a bar side (21+) and a family side, along with outdoor seating in warmer weather.

The best locally brewed beer in the state. A hidden gem in Columbus. This place has the best fish tacos Ive ever had. I recommend it with their Jack the Bum. Their menu changes with the season and they have about 20 taps of draft to choose from, including a few nitrous pours.

Dont listen to the positive reviews of this place. My chicken came out burnt to a crisp. I asked them to make me new chicken, but I was told that that was how the chicken was supposed to taste. The place was also dirty and had a weird smell. Dont eat her!!

Stopped in for a bite and a brew, Id give the tenderloin the highest marks possible...easily one of the best Ive had. Great selection of Indiana and other craft beers on tap, friendly wait staff. Next time Im in the area this is definitely on the list!

The food is OK in Columbus Bar, it is really cheap though for the quality. You can easily have a good lunch for around 9 to 10 bucks. I would recommend it as a rotation for people looking for lunch places around Columbus. Good selection of beers too!

Awesome beer selection and the prices cant be beat. Bartenders are knowledgeable about the brews. The food is great. If you have to visit one bar in Columbus, there isnt one better than the CB.

The food is good as long as you dont happen to glance into the kitchen. It amazes me no one has died of food poisoning. Someone must be doing special favors to the Health Department inspector.

This place is great for meeting new friends. Unlike the Garage, you wont leave this place with your ears ringing. Better priced food and drinks too, plus better service.

We hang out there every Friday and my son loves the cheeseburgers. They always have a great selection of beer. Friendly and helpful staff, and the staff knows us.

The day shift bartender was quite rude. She didnt seem like a people person at all. Beer selection was great however their in house brew left a lot to be desired.

Kraut balls, lolliporks, and the best damn collards (served with side pork on top) north of Dixie. Wash it down with some Diesel Oil Stout.
