The bread sticks and pizza were phenomenal. The atmosphere is a hole-in-the-wall type place, which I enjoy. The reason I am rating it low however is the staff friendliness and lack of welcoming, with lingering smoke from the kitchen. My family and I are camping at McCormicks Creek, so we drove 30 minutes to get here after reading the great reviews. However, since we are out-of-towners, we had no idea the protocol. Seat yourself? Be seated by the staff? The employees stared at us without greeting us. Allowing us to stand awkwardly for three minutes until I made eye contact with an employee and asked, So, do we choose a table..? She looked at me without speaking until another employee heard me ask and lead us to a table. The same woman that I had asked the question to then turned to a male employee and began speaking in a hushed tone. This made me uncomfortable. The food came, it was delicious, (waitress only stopped by our table twice. Once to deliver the food and once to deliver beverages), and then my eyes began to water due to the smoky atmosphere. From the kitchen, not from smokers. I sat through it until I was done eating, but got out of there quickly after finishing my food. It wasnt a thick smoke, just a subtle annoyance. This is a place for great food, but after the experience we had I would not go back again nor recommend it to any one.

Had terrible service and waited over an hour for two pizzas after having served multiple people after us. After waiting over an hour for our order we had to remind them about a beer that was purchased and wasnt served until we were getting ready to leave. On one of the pizzas we received there was little to no sauce with the possibility of forgetting it. Overall the service was terrible, being out of town with a forty minute drive we were hoping it would be a decent experience. Hopefully it was just a one time bad experience and may give it another chance down the road due to other positive reviews.

After buisness in Mooresville myself and two buddies tried this place for a late lunch on a recommendation. We shared a large thin crust pizza and had some craft brews. The pizza was as good as it gets and I thought superior to any of the pizza places I normally visit in Bloomington. Our waiter was fantasic and treatated us strangers like old friends. We all liked it so much we plan to go back and try some different menue items. Try it, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This place is well worth the little drive if youre looking for excellent pizza! The hand tossed pizza is the best. Sandwiches are great. The beer is.. well, you know, beer. Its cold and refreshing. You should try out Tomato Pie pizza joint!

Love, love, love this pizza!! We drive 20 minutes one way twice a month to eat this delicious food! This place is way out of the way but worth the hassle. They are known for their bread sticks. They also serve Sun King beer from Indy.

We had an awesome office lunch thanks to Tomato Pie: the Roma was so delicious and the bread sticks cant be beat. They went out of their way to make sure we had enough dressing for the Antipasto Salad!

This is the best pizza in or around Monroe County. Always fresh, always hand made and loaded. Gourmet pizzas. Best breadsticks you will EVER have. Yummy giant cookies :) Best find in pizza ever.

Absolutely delicious pizza better be!) but dishonest pricing. Two 16" pizzas, 1 order breadsticks, 1 extra sauce for carryout shouldve been at most $53 with tax. They charged us $65. --Never again.

The best pizza Ive ever had! Everything is amazing. The sandwiches (LOVE the Philly!), the salads (antipasto is the BEST!), the breadsticks melt in your mouth. So absolutely worth the drive!

Excellent food but it is a little pricey. Gotta be careful, too, theyll give you your drink in a to go cup then charge you for the cup, so you gotta specify if you do or dont want it.

Ive only tried the pizza (sausage and pepperoni) and the bread sticks and both were great. The bread sticks are brushed with garlic butter and IMO they are as good as it gets.
