If youre expecting your food to be brought out to you within 5 minutes after ordering by non-smiling minions, go to McDonalds. If youre wanting home-cooked meals reminiscent like your granny made, and willing to wait 15 minutes, then this is definitely the place for you. Staff are always friendly. Prices are average, but realize you are going to get your grannys huge portions, and will have some to take home for another meal. Today we had the Swiss steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans with bacon, and a warm fresh roll; breaded tenderloin (they are as big as the dinner platter!) with onion rings; and fruit plate with chicken salad. Everything was served quickly - less than 15 minutes, hot food was hot, cold food was cold, sweet tea was perfectly sweet as always, but most importantly, everything was delicious & served by a great waitress! 5 stars!

Large tenderloin with potato wedges was amazing. The way a Hoosier tenderloin sandwich is meant to be. And dont forget to leave room for the homemade pies. The sugar cream was some of the best Ive ever had. On another visit, felt like breakfast for lunch, so go the flapjacks. Was able to have them made with apple slices, and looking forward to trying them with blueberries. The side of ham was some of the best tasting ham Ive ever had.

Food is good. Service fairly quick. Park is very noisy so we usually get take out now. Staff is friendly. Always clean when we have been in. Maybe a little cluttered but clean. Very popular with the local middle age and older crowd. However lots of young families eat there also. Best tenderloin sandwich we have ever had. Desserts are very good.

Everything here is good! Biscuits and Gravy are awesome and homemade and the Swiss Steak is so tender. Fornthr locals...they have onion rings like Criders.
