I had heard a lot of good things about the place so my brother and his family took my husband and I there last Thursday. The service was not great and we could not order the wings the way we wanted. We wanted 50 wings. 25 hot and 25 mild but the waitress told us she would have to ring it in as two different orders which meant we would have to pay more. In order for us to get the price for 50 wings they had to be all the same flavor. She told us their boss was losing money when they split orders like that. WOW!! talk about great customer service!! so after discussing it for twenty minutes they decided to let us have it for the price of 50 wings The food was ok and the Bleu cheese tasted awful. Also while we were there we seen a family of four get up and leave because the waitress was to slow to take there order and it was not that busy at nine oclock at night Was disappointed

Knew I should never have gone back after I tried to order a hamburger and they were out of burger! But, waited over a year, and tried again (3 more times to be exact!). Time1 - not enough waitresses for their "taco night", so service was extremely slow - at least tacos were decent. Time2 - One guy playing in bar and place was packed. Seated outside (where there is also a bar and no bartender) and not nearly enough workers. Took even longer than before and never did get 2nd drink. Could have walked out without paying (but didnt). Time3 - "Wing night" - wings overcooked and must have sat around for a while; bun for fish sandwich was pulled out of package - not toasted, nothing. Fries also overcooked. Drink not correct. I like to support local businesses, but.............

I will be back after some improvements have been made. As a restaurant employee myself, I know that flip-flops are NOT appropriate footware for working in a kitchen /restaurant. I also watched two waitresses cleaning tables. One climbed up in a booth, standing on the seat to wipe down the table. I then watched another waitress wipe a table down, but swept all the crumbs, food particles, paper, etc onto the floor instead of a buspan. The service once seated was a bit slow and could have been better. I believe that with some better training of the staff, this restaurant could be very nice.

The food is always good, and the service is usually slow. Allow plenty of time. Its worth the wait! My husband loves getting the Rodney burger and we love the Elvis wings!

So far everything that I have had is great (pulled pork, ribs, steak, shrimp, and a few sides). The portions are huge and the prices cant be beat. This is a must try!

Ive been to the hog rock twice and the pulled Pork is excellent! Decent prices and a huge amount of food. If you havent gone.. Make the trip out!
