First off, as we walked up to the door, a waitress literally ran out to instruct us to sit on hot, unshaded metal benches at high noon. We werent asked if we wanted outside seating, we were told, despite there being 4 open booths inside the restaurant. Not the most comforting situation after a 4 hour drive in 90 degree heat. I got the impression that we werent welcome by the regulars inside or something. Against better judgment, or due to simply not wanting to drive around looking for another place to eat, I didnt walk out right then. It took our server nearly 15 minutes just to ask us for our drinks, and another 15 for her to bring them. The tables next to us had the uneaten portions left by previous diners, and no one had made any effort to bus these tables, so birds and flies were swarming around the patio. I ordered the "special" which was a lake perch sandwich at 7 bucks. What I got was essentially 4 tiny fish sticks that didnt even cover 3/4 of the flavorless bun it was paired with. My girlfriend ordered the cheeseburger at 5-6 bucks, which was about the quality of unsold closing inventory at a Rallys. At least the tartar sauce and Coke were good. I felt stupid for not turning around to settle for McDonalds. avoid at all costs.

UGH YASSSS...!!! Quality food, kind service, quaint atmosphere, and honestly just great overall! Shout out to the girl working the front entrance who complimented my boyfriend & me on our scarves LOL. The staff here are all super sweet! FOOD TRIED: Happy Hour Oysters - $12 for 6 oysters & a beer! Tried the St. Simon, Big Rock, and Deer Creek ~ all super fresh! My personal favorite was the Big Rock oysters from Cape Cod which are the perfect level of salty and smooth. It was also my boyfriends first time trying oysters and he loved it! Tuna Tartar - Honestly, if you like tuna tartar, youll dream about the way Upstate mixes theirs and then youll never want to have it anywhere else again. Crab Cakes - Initially I wasnt sure what to think because yknow, theyre just 2 crab cakes, and then you eat it with the salad and the sauce and its like pretty damn awesome. Marlin Crudo - Caviar and marlin ermagerd making me feel fancy Fettuccini w/ Clams - GET THIS! Great house special with huge clams.

Great little place to come eat after shopping across the street at Lighthouse Outlet Mall. They have a big menu with lots of variety. The staff was very friendly and the service was prompt. The food is delicious. Its a great place to go and sit down for a bite but not take a long time to order, eat, and leave.

Service was bad; couldnt answer questions about items on menu and the waitress was more focused on chatting with friends then serving us. Could overlook this if food was decent but it was greasy and heavy.. It was definitely a disappointing lunch experience in an area filled with other options.

Terrible service, took very long to ask for our orders, the servers were sitting around talking in the front instead of doing their job,bad bathrooms,the toilet seat was wiggly, no hook to hang anything on the food was okay, and they messed up my aunts order

Kids meal grilled cheese is $7 the same price as regular. And its made with Texas toast. Got for a 2 year old that had a couple bites. Mozzarella sticks, over $6 and only got 6. Had lunch with my husband and 2 year old niece and spent $40. Really.....

Besides them not knowing a difference between a double decker and triple decker sandwich on their menu; the food was okay for lunch. Child portions are too large for small children. Breakfast food was good but average plate will run $8- $11

Service was decent, nothing to write home about. The food was good and they give you a lot for your money (at least with the lunch sandwiches). The glasses looked stained, but otherwise the place seemed to be clean.

Waited 30 min at the drive through for a hamburger and cheeseburger. Somehow they managed to forget the cheese. Which costs a dollar per slice, so there went another 5 minutes arguing about that. #neveragain

One of the best breakfasts Ive had in sucharge a long time! I recommend the skillets for breakfast. Staff was incredibly nice and attentive. Its a cute place and most importantly its nice and clean!
