Was in this store on 12/31/2014. There was one employee and she was newer. She did not know how to file insurance and spent 1 hour 45 min. in there just to order a pair of glasses. during my wait she said that the guy before me ordered 2 pair of glasses and she got through the whole process and lost his order. I asked here if there was anyone else there on that day and she said no, they left her in there on her own. She then told me they had not even trained her on the insurance in the computer. Remind you this is the end of the year and people are trying to finish out their benefits. I finally got my glasses 2 weeks later. Today I received my EOB and insurance would not pay my doctor because they say I saw the Meijer doctor on 12/31/14. I never saw the doctor at Meijer. They filed a claim with insurance saying I did (insurance fraud), When I contact the store they refuse to give me a corporate number or a number of a district manager. Do not go here unless you want a lot of headaches or wish to waste a lot of your time. By the way, the store in Avon was very helpful on the phone and got me the numbers I needed. Thank you Avon!

This Meijer is beautiful and it has an amazing selection to choose from. However, I have been to this store on several occasions and Ive seen the greeters being pleasant and cheerful to customers as they are entering and exiting before me but then their demeanor seems to change when I enter. Either they dont say anything at all or they just seem generally unfriendly. Ive even went as far as to smile and greet them first just to remind them that they should treat all customers respectfully. Their behavior makes me feel weird especially since I dont see any people of my race in the store, as customers or employees.

This is the only Meijer that I know of that has a good produce. All of the other ones including Avon dont have a good produce. A couple of family members of mine that live around Marion area said that the Marion Meijer has a better produce than Walmart. I had said that Walmart has a better produce, but they said "Not our Walmart. Meijer has a better produce in Marion." But the price unfortunately is the same as other Meijer stores around. It is still expensive.

This store is great when it comes to groceries,pet items,Electronics,clothing,sporting goods and it also has a large selection of Spirits, There is a Pharmacy inside the store and for your convenience there is a drive up window. Bakery items are fresh and has lots of selections for your sweet tooth. Its a grocery store with lots of helpful departments, come visit and see for yourself...

I bought my 9 year old a PlayStation 3 got a guarantee with it sent the PlayStation 3 into the warranty company the warranty company said that theyre not going to be fixing it called Meyer there going to see if they can help. Got to meyer and talked to store director really helped out... thanks shay. Mary Christmas...

I enjoy shopping at Meijer for all my grocery and non-grocery needs. The facility is clean, the cashiers are friendly, the greeters are kind, and I thoroughly enjoy casually traveling the aisles looking at odds and ends. I always find more than what I bargain for and I always leave with a smile on my face.

I am so torn on this review I like the store but one person brings the whole thing down. I wanted to order cookie cakes for my daughters birthday in late September and requested a Batman symbol on one and a Jack Skellington on the other and was told "our team is not talented enough to do that!"

Meijer is a great alternative to Wal-Mart. A good quality and selection of produce. The layout of the store takes some getting used to. Be sure to sign up for MPerks to clip coupons and earn rewards. Free cookies for kids from the bakery!

Love the prices but HATE the layout of the store. It is horse shoe in layout with the groceries and household item circling around the outside of all the other general merchandise in the store.

Took 20 minutes to gather our groceries then stood in line for 30 minutes to check out! 8 p.m on saturday eve and only 3 registers open. I probably wont go back there again

Self checkout usually works and grocery shopping seems to be quicker here than other stores. All the other stores always have long lines with only a few lanes open.
