THE best place for lunch in Lebanon! Ive eaten at The Fig Tree many times, and every meal has been consistently delicious! Lots of healthy options here, from salads to soup to a huge variety of sandwiches that will satisfy picky or adventurous eaters alike. They also offer a variety of desserts and even gelato if you have a sweet tooth to satisfy after your meal. The atmosphere is wonderful! Outdoor seating is a treat when the weather is nice, and if not the cozy layout inside is perfect for a lunch date. The inside has a little bit of a boutique vibe as well, with knick-knacks, fun aprons, scarves, and other accessories for sale if youre looking for a gift. On top of all that the owners are incredibly friendly and staff have always been helpful. Just a great local place to eat all around.

Keep drivin! Not sure where this 25 zagat came from. I was insulted 3x at this restaurant when I asked if they offered salami of any kind on the menu. They boast deli...really ? Salami does exist in the Midwest! Contrary to the punk dude at the counter. Settled on a BLT w avocado. ..plz ...bacon cooked in microwave doesnt count as bacon! I returned the sandwich after 3 bites...could have asked if there was anything they could do/replace it with...but No. Just crappy sandwich w a side of bad attitude. Lebanon In deserves better than this.

I just discovered The Fig Tree about a month ago. I have only had the Marty Cristo sandwich so far. I like it so much that I have not tried anything else yet. There are a number of other sandwiches that I will be trying! The owners, Bethany and Levi, are very nice! The cafe has a nice atmosphere too! As a business owner myself I love seeing these 2 young people creating something nice and making money at it! If you are anywhere near Lebanon you need to stop in and have a bite!

Love the Fig. Its truly my happy place - great food, great people, great gifts, great atmosphere. I would give 6 stars if I could. Through the years Ive tried most of the sandwiches; you cant go wrong with whatever you pick. Make sure to save room for one of Bethanys excellent homemade desserts or gelato.

The Fig Tree is a really nice cafe in the centre of town. The fresh soup and sandwiches were really good, but you have to check out the brownies - we had this German marshmallow chocolate brownie which was absolutely beautiful. Pure indulgence. Good value for money too - a definite stopover.

A nice little addition for lunch to Lebanon. I have eaten here over twenty times. I enjoy their soups and Caribbean salad. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. Dont expect artisan or speciality bread, but they do have gluten free bread. The owners are friendly.

A great sandwich shop owned and operated by good people. The Buffalo Chicken is my favorite sandwich at any sandwich shop. Located on the square in Lebanon, the experience is fun. Make sure to save room for desert! Also, there are plenty of gluten free options.

Excellent costumer service. Very small quirky feel. Delicious gluten-free products. Had the BLT and cant wait to have more. Had the potato soup which was delicious. Finished the meal off with the vanilla cake. Small town gluten-free food at a reasonable price.

ive been here twice thinking that maybe the firat time was a fluke but unfortunately the resturant is simply bad. the corned beef was very poor quality and the sandwiches were generally bland and unimpressive.
