After finally listening to others going on about this place and saying I should try it, I finally did. I was more than pleased with my first encounter, the server was very friendly and genuine, the service was very good for the time of day and the amount of people, but the big thing was the food. The meal was fantastic, when they go on about their Red Lentil Soup youre thinking to yourself "its just a soup, how good could it possibly be to be called famous?" Well let me tell you it was completely and utterly delicious! I had the rack of lamb and it was some of the better lamb Ive had from a restaurant. The meat was so well cooked and seasoned/marinated, it didnt disappoint at all, the same with the rice. I would suggest this place to everybody to try out.

The first time I went, the lentil soup was watery and disgusting, the pides were more of a bread with the smallest amount of cheese they could put on it, the kabobs felt hard, as if they had been cooked and then reheated, and the service was slow. I just didnt like it, and the food was under seasoned. Didnt come back after the first time.

This is the best food you can find in Bloomington. I have been living in Bloomington for two years now and have been to most of the restaurants here, but the taste here is awesomely different. I come here at least twice a weak. Their Pides, Sis kabobs and other food is something you may have never had. Recommend it a hundred percent.

My friends and I spent the night in Bloomington Saturday night and decided to have lunch at the Tukiaz Cafe on our way to see the solar eclipse. We never had Turkish food before, the food , the service, the atmosphere where amazing! The owners and the staff are super friendly, and great prices! Highly recommended!!!!

We love Tukuazcafe. The owner keeps an impeccbly clean kitchen. The food is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. Everything is delicious, soup, bread, side salads, pides . . .and the prices are reasonable. And we always receive excellent service. This is not a chain and it shows (by the pride in ownership.)

Talking with the owner, most, if not all of the menu items are made from scratch and amazingly delicious. Pides are great, desserts are amazing, and everyone is so warm and welcoming. Its good to know that youre supporting a family-owned business instead of a typical chain restaurant when you eat here.

Turkuaz is my number one spot to grab a bite in Bloomington. If you havent tried their Pides, you dont know what youre missing! I highly recommend the fish one. All the entrees come with an incredible tri salad mix and red lentil soup. Always go here for good Turkish treats.

The Pides are scrumptious and not like any thing youve had before. The combination pide is to die for. A great soup and assorted appetizers come with the Pide. Order a cup of honey laced tea, and a delicious cut of Baklava and you are visiting Turkey!!!!

The pides at this place are just amazing. I always try the chicken turkuaz kabab and I was never disappointed. The amount of curry/kabab served is very good and the vegetables or chicken are cooked perfectly. The pots make it more delicious.

I would skip the buffet here. Has got less items for the buffet. I have been here for Dinner sometimes and the kebabs are awesome. Most of the times, staff are very helpful, but they may be rude when the place is very busy.

In my opinion, the best Turkish place in town. Their food is really flavorful, their service is great, the restaurant has a nice ambiance and seating options, overall a really good experience. Make sure to get a pide!

A small local Turkish restaurant with a tiny deli sale area. The food was always very good, and the staff is very friendly. Whenever I am in Bloomington I try to make a stop here.

Awful.. dont order the grape leaf rice appetizer unless u like bubble gum. Very over priced and they dont have real bread like other Turkish restaurants.

Our favorite! Love the soup, love the pides, love the mucver--in short, everything weve tried so far! The little grocery corner is an added bonus.

Hands down the best restaurant in the city. Lamb is on point, pides are hot and amazing, and the baklava has just the right amount of sweetness.
