We celebrated my wifes birthday at this location around 7pm on a Friday. The place was half empty and it still took over an hour to get 3 rolls, and 2 pieces of eel sashimi. The rolls and portions were extremely small compared to how much they cost. We can pay the same price and get rolls double the size in Los Angeles. The rice was chewy and the fish was served still pretty frozen making the rolls taste bland and left a lot to be desired. Certainly wasnt the worst sushi Ive ever had and its still pretty good knowing Im in a small town away from any bodies of water... but given the high prices and the extremely slow service, I can not recommend this restaurant.

Everything tasted great, however; I have to say their pricing is off on the high side with their sashimi platters by a substantial margin. I feel full from most sushi places having spent at least 15 dollars less on sashimi. I would still recommend this place, but buyer beware when it comes to sashimi platter value.

My wife and I went here for our first date. Its a nice and quiet place and doesnt usually get very crowded. It will be a bit pricey if you have a big appetite, but its worth every penny. Best sushi/oriental place that Ive ever been to between Indy and South Bend/Ft. Wayne/Chicago.

They have a variety of sushi in the pictures on their menu. But when you actually order it, only the number is correct. I ordered a sushi superior. It came with only 9 very basic kinds, 2 pieces each, totaling 18 pieces, instead of 18 different kinds in the picture.

Our family has been dining at Tokyo since they opened. We absolutely love it! They are very consistent and very very high quality. They obviously have no competition in Kokomo, but no one comes close regardless of where.

Best sushi in Kokomo. Cant believe we have such an amazing quality Asian restaurant in a town this small. I dont like going anywhere else. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fast service and quality food. Delicious!

Great hidden treasure the food quality seems much higher than the only other Japanese restaurant in town Taku. Although it lacks a bit in flair the food is top notch and the atmosphere great.
