Ive lived in the area for almost 20 years and had never ventured into Jim Dandy. On Mothers Day, I was looking for something simple and budget friendly. Jim Dandy fit the bill! The place is clean and up to date, and offers comfort food. I love a salad bar, and Jim Dandy has one. Kids liked the sandwich and meal choices and we ended with dessert. Only disappointment was a waitress rushing us so that she could go outside and smoke. She did come back after but it was both annoying and off putting.

Food and atmosphere is very reminiscent of roadside diners of the late sixties thru early eighties (Shoneys, Howard Johndons, etc). Portions are great, tastes good, and staff is friendly and helpful. Loses one star for being a little pricey for what you get, and nothing on the menu what I would consider, "healthy".

This is a great small town restaurant. The food in general is very good, and the service is always friendly. The broasted chicken is the best thing on the menu, although my sons are very fond of their signature hamburgers. You should definitely give them a try when you are in Noblesville.

The buffet was terrible fish not fresh nor vegetables. The fried chicken was the only item that was tasty. Cost the same as golden corral in Kokomo which was excellent comparing the two. Better choices and all fresh at GC. Will never eat at Jim Dandy again.

Typical breakfast buffet. Biscuits were hard. Bacon greasy and limp. Eggs had to be brought to table from kitchen. They also werent very good. Only 8 items to choose from, but only 6.99 plus drink so I guess you get what you pay for.

Food is good, but overpriced. And they will charge you extra for everything, without warning. "You want lettuce and tomato on your burger?" Well, sure. Bam! 50¢ more. I hate places that nickel and dime you to death.

Good food, particularly the Jimbo (named after the original Jimbo on his bicycle), and wet tenderloin. Great shakes and strawberry pie. Excellent value. Should get a beer wine license.
