Its pretty difficult to find exceptional food quality and unique menu items in Kokomo, at least in my experience. I didnt feel like cooking and I decided to give something new a try. I dont know why I hadnt thought about Windmill Grill until now, but Im definitely kicking myself in the ass for it. Most of the time, local restaurants offer pretty decent food if you dine in. However, the general quality of their selections for takeout is lackadaisical to say the least. I cant say that same thing about Windmill Grill, and trust me I tried to find something wrong with it. Even our takeout was awesome. My steak was cooked perfectly and Im not sure I can honestly say Ive ever tasted a better meatloaf in my life (sorry, Mom). My spouse and I found ourselves looking at one another with disbelief in our eyes as we both sopped up the last bit of juice on our plates with the complimentary roll. I dont usually take the time to write reviews but I couldnt help myself. I was definitely impressed and I plan to order from there as often as my budget will allow. Its not that I hate cooking, its just that a meal from Windmill Grill is worth every single penny.

My family and I went to Windmill Grill and the atmosphere and location are nice, but the food was below par. I ordered chicken alfredo and there was a large puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl becasue the pasta was not drained properly. My wife ordered broccoli chicken alfredo and the broccoli she received had very small pieces of aluminum foil scattered throughout it - it was easily picked out, but I would assume the cooks would have noticed or been more careful preparing it. The check was incorrect as well and had to be pointed out to the manager. I also let the manager know about the aluminum foil in the broccoli so she could simply say something to the cooks about it so it wouldnt happen to any other patrons - her response was monotone and she didnt seem to care. We sat for over 5 minutes for the revised check, and I eventually had to walk to the front counter to get the check from her because she was on the phone and neglected to bring it back to me. Overall, very disappointed with the entire experience. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but it was enough to make us never return.

This is certainly Kokomos "best kept secret"! Ive dined an nearly every food establishment in Kokomo and the Windmill Grill blows the rest of them out of the water. My Wife ordered a steak, medium-rare and I ordered the chicken and pasta. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY! Spot on medium-rare, excellent sear and nicely placed grill marks. No sauce required for this delicious piece of meat. My dish was equally as exceptional as the steak. Perfectly cooked pasta, covered in a creamy spinach alfredo sauce; all resting nicely atop a perfectly cooked portion of chicken. For dessert we had the Skyscraper Cheesecake. I have loved cheesecake since I was a small child. It has always been my favorite dessert. This slice of cheesecake was the best Ive ever had. Perfect crust, thick filling, rich and decent filling, served with two heaping dollops of whipped cream (on the side) and strawberry glaze on top. Lastly, this establishment has phenomenal service. Our server ( I believe his name was John ) was superbly attentive and graciously personable. Excellent job!!!!

Owner Tom Trine and his family not only spend most of their time working here, but also operating a fantastic catering service. The food is always higher than expected quality, with great small details that make their meals stand out. I would love to see more adventurous menu items, but given the infamously bland palate of Kokomos residents the Windmill Grill delivers home-style favorites just the way they like it. Take your time with the menu, but dont neglect the Grills surprisingly diverse beer and wine selections!

I remember going here during a trip down to Kokomo. A family friend of ours suggested that we follow them out to eat and this is where it was. It has a nice little eclectic decor that ties into the community and surrounding area. I do remember the waitstaff was fairly friendly and professional (despite them being so young.) The fish they had was fairly good. Dont really think they had Wi-Fi though.

Let me tell you, you should not be disappointed if you.come here. My cheeseburger was delicious. Fries, not so.good to me. Hubs steak, very good! He liked the fries. The pickles mmm! Good service too. Eager to get us drinks. We were ready to order as soon as the waitress came because the menu is easy to read. Wow! They gave hubby a father s pen!

We had WMG cater our mothers birthday celebration. Everyone complimented how delicious everything was. The delivery person was prompt and courteous. And we were happy with the cost and the portion sizes. If I ever need another cater I will definitely use them.

This is a Kokomo staple. They have a little bit of everything on the menu and its all very good. Classic menu items like meatloaf and pork tenderloin as well as newer, healthier options.
