We took my husband there last Friday night to celebrate Fathers Day. We had only been there once previously and enjoyed it. While the food was fine, I was more than disappointed in the handling of a mistake that our server made. She inadvertently charged not only our bill of $108.79 to my debit card, but also another tables bill of $48.91. She explained the mistake and proceeded to say that she couldnt credit my account back for the extra charge. After working in retail and restaurants years ago, I couldnt fathom why my card could not be credited. I asked to speak to the manager, Chris Roegner. Mistakes happen, and I fully expected him to make it right. He came over and explained how it was IMPOSSIBLE to void the sale or credit my card. He stated I would have to wait 3-5 business days for it to be credited. Again, I was floored. I repeated my question of what are you going to do to make this mistake right? He again said there was nothing he could do. He also went on to say how sometimes it has resulted in patrons bouncing checks, etc since it takes a while for the credit to appear. Wait, what?? If its happened before that is one too many times. I was thinking that I would hear SOMETHING from him such as "heres $50 from our cash drawer" or "heres a $50 gift card for the mistake" or "heres dessert to take home for all six of you" or ANYTHING. Well, I never heard anything that a decent manager should say. You FAILED MISERABLY, Chris Roegner. So, I am still waiting on my credit. We will never go back and believe me, we will let as many people know about it as we can. We actually already have and not one of them said Chris did a good thing. I wonder if he would wait 3-5 business days to let me pay our bill?

Applebees of brewpubs. Food pricing would indicate it wasnt delivered from Sysco and/or Gordon Food Service, unfortunately thats exactly what it tasted like. The decor was about as uninspired as the food. Craft beer price was fairly valued at $3.99 for a pint of IPA. The IPA seemed as though it was brewed for a typical domestic beer drinker, whos considering a craft beer for the first time. If the kitchen were open to one tip- If you choose to continue to use the same fryer for fish & previously frozen fries, you could consider seasoning the fries with something other than a dusting of salt. Tasteless fries cooked in the same oil as fish can easily provide a overbearing fish taste to the fries. Salt, pepper & oregano or even seasoning salt would help to cut through the fish taste. Service was prompt. Kitchen made a mistake on the order, server caught the mistake while delivering food to the table and quickly corrected the issue. If the servers were open to a tip- If management chooses an up charge for fries its common practice. If the customer doesnt eat more than one & refuses a box that might indicate there was a problem with the fries. If a patron doesnt willingly provide negative feedback on uneaten food its typically ok to ask if there was something wrong with the item and/or offer to remove the up charge.

We sat in the bar for a late night meal, at a bar table. Our waitress Paige provides us with mediocre service AT BEST. We were only checked on twice in our hour visit. Refills were not offered until we almost finished all of our food, which she herself did not deliver because multiple times she would leave from behind the bar and disappear to the back near the kitchen. She asked if we wanted a box for our fries, after seeing we barely ate any of the them because they were not nearly as tasty as publicized, and we replied with no they did not taste very good. She did not take this into account when handing us our bill, and yet again disappeared to the back while we waited seven minutes for her to retrieve the bill. She never came and another waitress checked us out. We wont be visiting here in the near future. Food was mediocre during our visit. Buffalo chicken sandwich was alright, chips were not good, coleslaw is alright at best, and the tenderloin wasnt what was expected.

Nice ambiance-- the place was promising. My wife ordered the fish and chips-- an Irish pub is the place to do that, right? That is playing it safe in an Irish pub, right? What she got was a soggy, oil-soaked lump-- the "breading" sloughing off of the "meat"-- truly inedible. And the chips... were rock-hard POTATO CHIPS. Now-- they dont think thats what "fish and chips" means, right? In a pub? I must assume they formally served nicely fried wedges of potatoes-- and the patrons were so sub-mental that they complained about not having what Americans call "chips." If this is the case--- they should warn us non-lobotomized customers what to expect ahead of time. I hope the people who think this is what pubs serve as "fish and chips" are not the ones running the place. Thankfully there was a side, some unseasoned steamed broccoli to provide her a little nourishment for the road. Steer clear.

Half Moon is an almost indescribably amazing place. The portion sizes are ridiculously large, the food is ridiculously flavourful, the restaurant is ridiculously atmospheric, and the service is ridiculously good. I ordered a flat iron steak, and had a hard time believing that the meaty monolith before my eyes was truly only a 10 ounce steak. The meat was perfectly seasoned, and cooked to a perfectly warm, juicy medium rare, paired beautifully with the deliciously sweet fried apples and unbelievably delicious mashed potatoes. What I sampled from family members plates of taco salad, porkchops, pulled pork, and brisket was as well simply amazing. I can scarcely think of a reason not to visit this restaurant, if you find yourself in the area. Just make sure you either bring an enormous appetite or sizeable carspace for leftovers to ride.

My girlfriend and I went here today with her mom, sister and sisters fiance. We ordered our food and it came out alright. Then when it came to pay for our separate bills, my girlfriend and I had a coupon, and her sister and sisters fiance had a coupon. Mind you, they were two separate coupons and two separate bills. Then to find out that only one coupon can be used per table. The general manager came and spoke with us and basicly said which coupon do you want to use. If we sat at different tables we could have used our own coupons respectively. Overall, we are very dissatisfied with the service we had. The one coupon per table rule is one of the dumbest things if heard. Why offer coupons if you dont let two different customers use their own coupon on separate bills. Never going back.

Went to have a nice meal with some family and friends. I ordered a cole slaw. Mid way into eating I noticed a black hair in my cole slaw. I let the waitress know who immediately told the manager. He came over and said "this wasnt intentional". I agreed and told him I would not believe someone meant to do this and it was an accident. I was simply letting them know the batch of cole slaw they made should probably be looked at since mine contained hair. He apologized and asked to make it right and said he would give me dessert for free. I do not eat dessert and politely declined. He offered nothing else in return, like maybe another side to go with my meal or even 10% off my meal. I felt like it was poorly taken care of.
