We first visited on a Saturday morning about 9AM. The extra large parking lot was extremely full. We thought we might have a long wait, however, we were able to be seated almost immediately. The building is very large on the inside, lots of tables and booths. Our server was very friendly and asked us if this was our first time at the restaurant and we said yes. She pointed out some specials on the menu and we asked about certain items. When the food was delivered, it was very generous portions and was good. The bacon seemed to be extra salty, but the sausage gravy was great. The atmosphere is very homey, casual and relaxed. Dont be surprised to see folks at the bar drinking beer at 9AM on a Saturday. The day we visited it parking lot had numerous old restored cars in the lot - a good reason to walk around after the meal and check out the cars.

Brunch was okay, but BE CAREFUL of your tab/card charges. Our waitress did not correctly separate the bill and she said it would be corrected when the charge cleared. It was never corrected, despite writing on the receipt that I only authorized the correct amount. I also went to Motor City for a show a few months back and a friends tab at the bar was over charged. She had to call them several times to get it sorted out.

This is the first time that I visit this place and they never imagined a couple was looking for a place to eat only a hamburger. They looked to us as strangers and it was only after we talked to the waitress that they changed their attitude toward us. But in general service was good and staff was friendly and nice.

After going last week for breakfast, I came back. My entire meal was cold this week. Didnt tell me I wasnt getting biscuits until my meal was over. The waitress told me she was "sassy" too when I told her I didnt want to pay for food I didnt get. I will not be back. Sorry food and sorry service this week.

Dougs may have been a few other things before landing on what it is today, which for me is a tasty american breakfast joint. Its a little gritty, but most of my favorite places have some character to them. If youre traveling and prefer a momn pop breakfast, this is a good choice.

Awesome service great price friendly service great food. Definitely will be back next time Im bowling Green so happy to have found it just a little mom and pop joint. Server was awesome and talked to the kids and listened back. She was amazing.

We came for breakfast. The food was good, but there was a hair in my omelet. Service was slow though. Bathrooms were very clean. Definitely a bar feel to this place. Ive had better, but definitely had worse.

Got a roast beef Manhattan. The roast beef was cold and reminded me of alpo dog food Which made it even harder to eat. The bartenders were friendly. I was just extremely disappointed in the food quality.
