Lucianas has become my familys go-to Mexican restaurant. Having moved to Indy from Texas recently, were pretty picky about our Mexican food. Were always happy with the salsa and queso (the staples) to start. The margaritas are good and they have a number of size options so we can get however much we need, and share. The entrees weve tried have all been excellent. We usually get enchiladas or fajitas, but theres a chicken dish I cant remember the name of (some kind of spicy sour cream sauce) that I occasionally crave. Also, the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I am from Southern California (aka the north of Mexico). Lucianas missed the mark on just about every level. It is typical Indiana attempted Mexican food, lacking the flavors that define the food that made Mexican food my favorite food growing up. That said, some important marks were met for a great restaurant in the Midwest: portions were big, food was salty, and service was good. I dont think the food was worth the money. But service was good and it is less bad than a lot of other Mexican places in Indy, so 3 stars.

My Husband and I love Lucianas. We visit at least once a month and really enjoy the food. The establishment is owned by a family that are very dedicated and passionate about their restaurant. Often visiting the restaurant you will get to know the whole family, even Luciana. I highly recommend this restaurant for the margaritas (they are strong, watch out!) and all the food. I have not had one thing on the menu yet that I did not like. They also have some great lunch specials!!

This was my second visit, I get a margarita at the bar while I wait for to-go food. Taco Tuesday was super busy this time. The bartender was non-stop while I had my margarita, but he couldnt take my order for about 20 min. If its that busy, please have 2 bartenders. Thats a good problem to have. Our food was good, my husband had the tacos special and I get the chicken chimi.

Never had a bad experience here until tonight and I probably wont be coming back because of it. Our server was rude and only showed up at our table twice. We were expecting an in and out experience. We finished eating and ended up being there for an additional 35 minutes waiting on to go boxes and our checks. We eventually got tired and paid at the front and left.

We agreed to be swayed outside. There was a really bad smell. It was because the dumpster was open and on the other side of the patio. The food was at best mediocre. The tortillas are store bought. The truck was there delivering while we were eating. Better margs and mexican food up the street on Keystone. This mistake will not be repeated.

Hit or miss here. I like their soup for sure. I often get mixed up orders. Friendly staff and it is always busy so maybe I have just had a string of bad luck. I quit going after about 6 trips where things did not come out right. I do like the fact that it is a family owned business and will give it another shot in the future.

Ive been here quite a few times and Ive never been disappointed. The service and food is great. I would normally take a picture of what I eat but every time I get my plate Ive eaten all the food before I take one. I guess that shows how wonderful the presentation is and how delicious the food is. Maybe next time Ill do it.

Food was mediocre. As a Texan, I may be biased, but some of this meat was /completely/ unseasoned. They gave me the wrong drink order and then argued with me about it and tried to refuse to replace it. The waiter was actually a little rude. Gonna have to drink way more of this margarita to forget this service. :/

Castleton location is much better food and service. Chips taste like they are from a food service. Today, I had to ask the server to refill my soda. I did not see her after ordering until I asked for a refill. As I write this a nat is flying around my plate. Im out of here!

Good overall experience Food was good Atmosphere great Service really good Price okay - not super excited about spending 8$ for a bean burrito (see below) only Would definitely go back if they had more vegan options. Im sure those who eat dairy and meat would really enjoy it.

One of the better Mexican places that Ive been to in Indianapolis/Broadripple area. The chips and salsa were excellent. The salsa tasted fresher than most Mexican places around here. The chicken was cooked well.

Excellent service. I love their food. My only two issues are that their soup and coffee arent serve hot. Ive been here a number of times and its always the same. Other than that, this place is great!

Live nearby, love it. Id give it four if I had to drive here, because the parking lot is very compact and Ive seen some people have a lot of difficulty in it, so consider parking at a side street!

Worst food, worst service. Our waiter left in his car about halfway through our meal and nobody came back to check on us. Food was hard and stale, nothing authentic. Never going back. Good luck!

If you want tex mex thats over priced then this is the place. However if you want authentic then eat somewhere else. I read these reviews thought it was good food. I was wrong.
