El nopal has become one of my favorites places to eat. The first time I came 2 weeks ago with some friends to try the michelada so tasty, refreshing and great and today I finally try their food, so authentic and delicious and the portions are huge so get ready for flavor to the max! Corn chips and fresh salsa with a hint of spice as welcoming so tasty! Yes Micheladas, although since they have a big selection of Mezcal I will totally order something else from the bar. We order red sauce chilaquiles with eggs over medium on top just ready to eat also comes with rice and black beans with sprinkle queso fresco. Our second plate was the molcajete if you dare to order this you may consider to share, comes with chorizo, Cecina, steak, queso Oaxaca, cactus, cebolla frita and on the side rice, corn tortillas and some veggies. We want it to order some appetizers but glad we didnt definitely lots of food already. Im coming back and of course I suggested to my friends.

My family and I were in town for a show setup at the expo center, and we were looking for some good Mexican cuisine. The food was delicious. The service could have been better though. Nice guys but somewhat slow and inattentive. However, there was a steady stream of customers all night...and that was on a Sunday night. My mother had the spinach enchiladas, full of fresh spinach and smothered in a delicious crema sauce. One of my sisters had a poblano enchilada... It was huge.. Stuffed with a fresh, spicy, bright green delicious poblano pepper. My other sister had a crabmeat enchiladas and I had the mole chicken... Both empty plates. Delicious also. We also got to watch the playoff game... Very good food and great atmosphere. Try it out. We enjoyed it.

Typical americanized Mexican food, nothing special. Usually very quick, piping hot and not at all chatty. I live nearby, I might starve to death if I didnt have them to feed me. Dining in, they are flawless, ordering to go, they do have a hard time getting the correct order together. Recommended.

If youre gonna go to an El Nepal, this is the best one in the city. Outstanding service, higher quality menu (Pollo la campesina is the best!), and better overall experience will be found at this location. We drive out here from the south side of town and it is well worth it.

Enrique is THE BEST server!! He is the MOST ATTENTIVE SWEET ON POINT SERVER!!! I have been a server for almost 10 yrs & if i eat mexican i go to where HE works!! He makes the "night out" experience awesome!! Ask for Enrique!! (He was our server at Mexico Tipico)

Not a very good food, not flavor whatsoever in the food, need more attention to the customers. Hate microwaves food and this restaurant is kind of thats. I just stop by and try some Mexicans food but nothing to compared the Mexicans cuisine in Bowling green,ky.

Ordered at this place for years and loved it. Then the service became really bad and the cashier girl is horrible. "The customer is always right" does not apply here. They couldnt care less about a complaint. Not going back to this location again.

We went fairly late, around 9. Service was excellent, chips and drinks refilled constantly. Orders came out fast, correct, and delicious. And the price is great. If there is one knock, it would be that I prefer a thinner tortilla chip.

I enjoy El Nopal quite a lot living in the area. The food is reasonably priced for what it is and the margarita pitchers can be had on good deals. The only thing that ruins the experience here is sometimes its 80% full of fratboys.

Food portions are huge. Service friendly. Although it had your usual enchiladas burritos and fajitas it also had some combinations that were flavored with mango and lime. No one was able to finish their meal. Good bargain.

Great food. However, a have gotten a vegetarian meal that had small pieces of meat in it. Depending on how strict a persons diet is, may be problematic.
