My wife and I go here a couple times a year. Weve always had good experiences there for the most part. The food is great and the different daily desserts are a nice touch. Ive only had one bad experience and it was during a pick up order. I had a British friend visiting and he wanted some pub food. We went to pick it up, but didnt tip since we are picking it up and spend over $70 in food. The older man at the front who rang us up gave a snarky remark about not receiving a tip and called us "wankers". My friend, being from Whales, was really offended. That is the reason I give them 3 stars vs. 4 or 5. I still would like to go back, but havent yet since this experience. Hopefully they will have the ability to show more manners to their customers next time.

My fiancé and I frequent this place often but we went here last night for dinner with a group of friends and was beyond thrilled with the experience. We sat outside on the patio. The patio is very comfortable and has a great ambiance even though you get the traffic noise from College Ave. Smitty (sp) did a fantastic job taking care of us. He knew his beer and wine very well and was able to suggest the perfect beer for my fiancé and his friend and wine for myself. The egg rolls are a must have for a starter and the crab cake sandwich with the spicy mayo is to die for. I almost ordered one to take home. If you are looking for a place to go with a casual vibe and quality priced food then you must stop in.

This place has the feeling of an old English Pub, but a much better beer selection. Try out one from the huge selection of local, regional, and national crafts brews, while you munch on some tasty bar food. The fish tacos are pretty good as well as the nachos. Ive always had great service here whether I was in the bar or the dining room. Waits are short and the staff is friendly. This is mine and my wifes go to when we just want to grab something to eat and know it will be good every time.

I love this place. The outside I looks like your typical upscale broad ripple restaurant, but taking a step inside your transported to an English pub. The food is very good. Everything is always surprisingly fast and the service is superb. Very interesting food combinations like crab cakes burgers and beer cheese with granny smith apples, that Im almost ashamed to report are amazing. Worth a visit

We had lunch there on Sunday January 29th. The regular dining room was very noisy with kids, so the hostess suggested we sit in the pub, the high tops were difficult for one of our party manage, so she found us this wonderful booth. The FOOD was FABULOUS, we were able to sample a couple of the beers so that we were satisfied with the paring. GREAT SERVICE FABULOUS FOOD.

I liked the decor and away from downtown feel of the Aristocrat, but I didnt feel like the food matched the quality. For example, the chocolate cake I had for dessert was average and not worth more than a couple bucks. It wasnt like the food was bad, but it just wasnt the size and quality I had hoped. I will be visiting other restaurants around Indy before this one.

I find The Aristocrat to be actually kind of quaint and cozy, but I can definitely see this spot getting busy with people chatting lively over some pints. Aside from the different beers on tap that you can order, there are plenty of solid food choices that this restaurant serves. The baked brie was delicious, and you cant go wrong with a Hoosier Tenderloin sandwich!

We had a rehearsal dinner here, and it was amazing! The waitstaff was patient and went above and beyond to please our group. The appetizers were hot and delicious. My favorite was the hot beer cheese spread. I had the Hoosier Tenderloin for dinner, and it was excellent. My only complaint was that it was a little salty. I reccommend this place to everybody.

People told me this was the best tenderloin in the city. I figured they were exaggerating - how much better can one tenderloin be than all the others? Well I tried it, and people were right, its hand down the best Ive had. Its a bit pricey for a sandwich but it was delicious. Also beer selection was good and the service was very friendly and professional.

Decent food, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the spinach artichoke stuffed portobello appetizer, which was disappointingly bland (it pretty much just tasted like salt). Shared an order of their schnitzel, which was also mostly flavorless. Their red cabbage and German potato salad werent too bad. Great beer list and friendly staff.

One of my absolute favourite places in Indianapolis. Great fish & chips, bangers, Brit Pub food, style, and aesthetic. They also typically carry my favourite local brewed Wee Mac ale by Sun King, or something similar. It is non-specific British - combination of Irish, Scottish, English (maybe even some Welsh) influence in the décor and menu.

Weve been to Aristocrat twice now, and will likely not go back. The atmosphere is nice and the staff were perfectly pleasant. The food just isnt very good. Its pub food, so you expect it to be fried and greasy, but you dont expect it to be so bland. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I hope this feedback can help them.

Good menu, variety. Every item is very good, but French onion soup is exceptionally wonderful. Warm, comfortable decor, patio so nice you forget cars are driving by just beyond the sidewalk. Big selection of craft draught beers. The re-build a few years ago made this place even better.

Decent food. Beer cheese is fantastic. Good beers but they dont always cover as many styles of beer as other places. But it changes often. To sum up. Sometimes good service other times not. Some food good other times not. Order the right things and this place is world class.

On the outside, you get the sense that this place is trying a little too hard to inject some character. But step inside and order something, and youd be amazed at how competent the food and service is. Its not cheap, but for what you get, Id recommend it for a night out.

Hands down, the best food for the money. The fish and chips is the best in the city. The tenderloin is the best in the state. The beer selection might be the best in the Midwest. Great Place to have a beer or take your family for Sunday brunch.

Ordered carry out. Looked st menu online and based on prices noted, however, the price charged was not the menu price. Prices on menu need to be updated to reflect current prices. Also, portions could be larger given the price increase.

Excellent food, and friendly staff. My family drives down from northern Indiana every year to eat here. A little pricey for a regular dinner spot for my college student budget, but for an occasional luxury its a good time.
