When I entered, it was around 5:30pm on a Thursday ( I had a reservation I made through text, which I find to be very convenient). It was extremely dark and small and empty at the time. I was greeted by a female hostess who was very friendly. She sat me in the corner, which was exactly what I preferred. She even put my iphone on a charger when I asked her. A+ on her end for service. When I was handed a menu I immediately noticed two things: the prices are high and the food options are limited and eclectic (I enjoy experimenting but do prefer an array of options). I ordered a cocktail, which arrived fast and was delicious. Next, I ordered the chips and garlic dip, which were AMAZING (Ill go back just for my cocktail and the chips and garlic dip). However, I couldnt fully enjoy my drink and chips because it seemed like whomever was controlling the music kept switching it and turning it off in the middle of songs. This continued through the night and became apparent, annoying and awkward for my friend and I. We would be mid conversation, enjoying our food and drinks and all of the sudden the music would just stop, go silent and switch to a new song. If this place is going to identify themselves as a listening bar, they need to get the music under control. Anyhow, we ended up ordering 4 drinks total, the chips and garlic dip, beet tartare and the burger with truffles. We split the check. Our bill was around $115 total. All of our food and and drinks were delightful, but I do think the prices are a bit too high. I look forward to returning and hope they have the music thing figured out.

One round of drinks was $34 with tip. We made a dinner reservation foe 8pm and ordered drinks, and then the server told us they were out of 3 items on their menu. Be aware...their menu is very small with only 7 items. They didnt have anything of substance left to order. We went ahead and kept our drink order because it hat been a bit since we ordered, but when we went to pay (with cash) they informed us that they DO NOT take cash. Its dark, small, the music is loud, and they tell the customers no a lot. We will never be back.
