Lets start at the front door where your experience with A2Z all begins.. First you will be greeted by a hostess if there is one or an employee and if your lucky enough by there manager Tim so they can seat you at a table of your choice. Now here is where the fun will begin if you are a guess that tips really well you will have the pleasure of getting one of the two oldest servers that have worked there for about nine years because they get to pick and choose who they wait on as well as which station they want to be in.. However the rest of the wait staff are just as good if not better at giving the guest the best service ever.. Now lets move on to the food its no better or worse then any other cafe that I have ate at or worked at but the wait time is unbelievable at the least 20 to 40 minutes for any meal is to long when people are getting breakfast, before work or on there lunch break. Who has that much time... Now that I have a right to my own opinion and the freedom of speech. I can honestly speak about this place first hand.. Because I worked there for a very short time and the back stabbing talking about one another was something i had not seen sense i was in high school. Not only did it go along with in the cafe employees it was ran by the manager and owners...The stories I heard about there guests, who they liked and did not like.. the fake smiles to there face and then take there money tell them bye and to come again only to start talking about them and laughing at them until the next day when they would come back to visit what they believe was great friends with great food and good conversation not knowing they would be the topic of the conversation once they left..So for me this is why i am taking my time to tell my opinion on there page is because i am 100% a real person there is nothing fake about me and the owners and the manager at A2Z know this about me. So to let everyone know I was fired yesterday Sept 19th in the parking lot when I was coming into work for what they say the reason was i enter a tip wrong on a credit card and the owner Tom clearly stated he could tell it was a accident and instead of fixing it or show me how to do it right he just fired me. sounds crazy right well it is crazy I had told Tom and Gina Rosenow some things that were going on that was against the law so what better way to not deal with some thing is to get rid of it right.. So if you are the kinda of people that like drama fake people high priced food A2Z would be the place to go it will take you back to your high school days...

I was staying at the Extended Stay Carmel and looking for brunch places nearby. I found the A2Z Cafe and I was intrigued by their menu. This was the best restaurant choice Ive made in the nearly two weeks Ive been exploring the area. Lets take a look in detail: Service - I was greeted warmly when I walked in and sat immediately (I was rolling solo so I opted for a counter seat). Caroline took care of me and she made sure to keep my coffee topped off while also chatting with me and helping with menu choices. Menu - The menu covers breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I had a really difficult time picking just one thing. There are some really creative items on the menu! I opted for the tater tot scramble. Food - The tater tot scramble featured two scrambled eggs mixed with cheese, cubed ham, and a few tater tots all topped with sausage gravy. It was _amazing_! Full disclosure: I am madly in love with tater tots. With that being said, I was expecting it to be good but it was *great*! Definitely exceeded expectations. Ambience - A typical cafe situation. Booths, tables, and a counter to sit at. Seems like a really great brunch spot. Overall - 10/10 - Please make a point to grab a late breakfast here if you find yourself within 20 miles of this little gem!

This homey little spot not only filled my belly, it also filled that desire within me for good old fashioned service with a smile. In my search for food that is unique and inventive, I am often forced to suffer the indifferent service from hipster waitstaff and dismissive owners. That is the exact opposite of what I got here. The owner introduced herself and took note of my name. She refered to me by name throughout our meal and even held openthe door for us when we left. Enough about the service. The food was excellent. The combination of bacon, spinach, chorizo and goat cheese was an exceptionally tasty combo. It was just the perfect filling for my fluffy omelet. The sausage gravy also fit the bill. All in all this was an amazing experience and is likely to be a part of my restaurant rotation when visiting Indianapolis. One warning: be certain to check the hours before heading out for dinner. Currently dinner service is only available Thursday through Saturday.

I was introduced to A2Z by a friend and have ended up visiting at least once a week for lunch. This place is truly something special! Of all the places that I regularly visit during my lunch hour, this is the only one that greets me by name. Not just by the owner (who is delightful), but by most of the staff. The food is not just unexpectedly-good-for-a-strip-mall-cafe, it is legitimately well done. All of the dishes exhibit great care in their design and are well balanced (the biscuits and gravy is one of my favorites). A2Z is solid for breakfast and lunch, but go there for dinner as well! The fettucini alfredo is just right and they rotate specials to always have something interesting.

Came here on Fathers day for breakfast with just two people, upon speaking with the hostess I asked if there would be an estimated wait time, she shook her head at me and sternly said no. I stepped back to wait and she looked at me and said, in a nasty tone, "If its too long, just leave." I work in a store that does 10K a week, I know what its like to be swamped and stressed but I would NEVER speak to any PERSON this way. "Where the locals go to eat," Ive lived in central Indiana for my entire life and was very much looking forward to trying A2Z. Needless to say I left without eating. Very disappointed.

A2Z Cafe is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is unique (I know of no other restaurant that includes Spam in its list of breakfast meat options). Most of my review easily could be about the alone. Typically I have one dish per restaurant I go back for; whereas, at the A2Z Cafe, I have a rotating list of about five items. The owners are very involved in day-to-day operations, and demonstrate a real concern for people liking their restaurant. The servers are friendly and efficient. NOTE: They tend to be packed on Saturday mornings. You most likely will be waiting for your table.

This is a small, family-run restaurant that consistently serves the best Italian food in town. Also-I have Celiac disease and must eat Gluten Free-they have a GREAT GF selection of dishes...My husband eats either GF (for me to pick off his plate) or regular and says he cant tell a difference. We have only been for dinner, which isnt the cheapest in town, but is definitely our favorite (And we eat out a lot). Even the simplest salad has a fantastic flavor profile. Seriously-check this place out. We eat there like once a week...LOVE IT!!
