This restaurant doesnt deserve anything above a negative status, which should be an option. It was one of the worst dining experiences weve had, in quite a while. Arriving between10am, after the breakfast rush, but well before lunch crush (on a weekday), it seemed a good time to try it out after not eaten there in several years. From sitting down at the table, ordering our food (ham & egg combo for my husband & omelette & crepes for me, not a particularly complicated order). Over the next 45 minutes, we were served a total of two carafes of coffee, which I had to ask for, while the waitress seemed nice, she was not particularly attentive. After 20 plus minutes, watching people, that ordered after us, receive their meals, I asked to speak with the manager. He didnt respond to that request, nor were we given an explanation as to the delay of his arrival. After 28 minutes, our waitress let us know that our food was being prepared & would soon be arriving. After nearly 45 minutes from when we first sat down & the ordering process began, we received our food, most of it cold or rapidly cooling. Again, I requested to speak with the manager. This time, he eventually arrived. From his attire & disgruntled attitude, I would have never guessed he was the manager. I also was unable to locate any badge indicating his name & title. We were not, as you can probably guess, greeted warmly. As a matter of fact, we were not really greeted, by anything more than something similar to "... whats the problem...?" It went down from there... He disagreed with everything from the length of time for the food preparation, the time of presentation of the food & finally the cold food & the rapidly cooling omlette, the one thing that had truely came very warm (not hot, but much warmer than anything else) to the table. After realizing that we were not going to be receiving an apology or anything else, when asked what we wanted done, we chose to leave the food on the table, as it was & didnt offer to pay for the coffee, which I would have ordinarily done, but his entire demeanor was irritating. If you go to this "restaurant", go with very, very low expectations, that way when they are not met, you dont feel so disappointed.

If Anoma-Alpha-A (and his, I use his because I dont know the gender, vote-clone Apa-Alpha-A, two one star reviews the same day from the same person doesnt sound fair) were there on the evening of Sep 29, 2011, then I was there the same night (after midnight, though, so technically early today). Anyway, I read his review before eating, and decided that I had the opportunity to test the claims. I did not hear any "lip or teeth smacking" (my server was Robin), nor did I hear yelling/cursing from the kitchen. The pancakes my girlfriend and her brother got were not hard as a rock, the eggs were a little greasy but they were over easy so thats to be expected. My ham did not look reheated, and tasted good. Her brother had no issues with his bacon/sausage. Also, the salt was not wet, I poured some into my hand just fine (and threw it over my left shoulder). And I got multiple refills without asking, and Robin came back a few times to check on us to make sure we didnt need anything else. We were even offered hot maple syrup. So, in short: Did not have hard pancakes, food did not look reheated, plates werent dirty, Robin at least didnt have a "really nasty stuck up attitude", and there was no "weave-pulling" match (he said he was surprised there wasnt one, racist much?). The place wasnt mostly empty, maybe 1/4th occupied but it was late. My girlfriend suggested that Anoma-Alpha-A may have been an employee recently sacked, and the mention of his "cousin" quitting may be like when someone asks an embarrassing question for a "friend". The only negative experience I had was getting there. Its not obvious that you have to get on the service road because you cant see the IHOP sign until you pass the exit (heading northbound after exiting I-85).

My husband took me to IHOP because I really enjoy belgiun waffles. He knew they were having the special about belgiun waffles so he took me to your restaurant on Sunday afternoon, July 28, 2013. We were seated and when I went to give my order was told that the waffle maker had been broken for over 2 weeks. Now my husband has had a career in food service, and we are not stupid. IHOP gets a lot of their things from SUNDAy dinner, which is a stones throw away from the reastaurant. All the store manager had to do was take the money out of petty cash, and go to SUNDAY DINNER and buy a new one. The employees in the kitchen area were very noisy, and when I asked a young woman to see if they could be a bit less noisy, she said that that was NOT the first complaint of that type that they had that day. Our waitress was a nice young lady named Robin. She happened to be our cashier too. After we were seated were were given our menus by an employee, which excused herself for not being fully in uniform. she said she was already off the clock, but was staying later to help out. The place itself was dirty, the booths and banquets, were filthy on the isle side, and the vents were greasy. I know this place has seen better days, but the only one that had a good attitus=de that day was Robin. In my opinion, the store manager was doing a poor job if the special was belgiun waffles, and the waffle maker had been broken for over 2 weeks.

Let me start off by saying that the manager on staff 2/19/17@12:12 pm should be FIRED!!. This has got to be the worst Ihop experience Ive encountered. The kitchen was filled with staff standing around talking and laughing very loudly while there were customers sitting and receiving absolutely NO SERVICE. Our server took our order (Tamara T.) and when the food arrived a month later, I took a bite of my omelet and it was ice cold and the strawberrys that I ordered for the top of my pancakes were served in take out containers and they were frozen in the center. I sent the omelet back and asked for another. When Tamara returned with the omelet the cook or whomever, used something to cut and shape it so that it would look like a new omelet when in fact they had merely heated the omelet up. It had some red looking sauce where they attempted to smooze it together. I had it removed from our order and at no time did the manager come over to follow-up, and for those at my table that felt brave enough to eat their food...they never received any type of service to find out if they needed anything. When I looked around the restaurant I noticed that multiple parties decided to leave, while some actually gave the manager whats for. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves because there are tons of bad reviews for this place, but yet it still exists.

Warning...only go here if you have at least 1.5 hours to kill. We love the pancakes but the wait time is crazy slow. I took my wife this Saturday morning at 7:15 and sat right down as there were very few people in the restaurant. The server was very nice and took our drink orders in a timely manner. After about 10 minutes we received our drinks (juice, coffee and water) and then were told hed be right back to take our food order. Another 10 minutes and he was able to take our food order and told us it would be 10 to 15 for our food. 25 minutes later still no food. I mentioned to my wife that hardly anyone had food. Maybe one table was eating and the place had really filled up. Finally I had to go to work so I asked my server for the bill for the drinks so we could leave and we walked to the register so he wouldnt forget about us. He showed up a couple of minutes later and told us it was on the house. It appeared to me that the hang up was in the kitchen even though there werent enough servers once the crowd began to arrive. The poor guy trying to wait on us was covered in sweat trying to get to everyone and I heard him apologizing constantly to other customers. This restaurant is notoriously slow but this was an all time low for us. This is not just a rant...I live near here and it is always slow. This morning was simply the worst yet.
