Decided to try out another Mexican restaurant today and this place came up on Google. Made the trip out there around 1pm. The decor was nice but the place was empty, felt it was odd, but I figured its new and people are probably at work. My fiance and I sat down and waited for a waitress to approach us. After a small wait, a waitress came to the table and was very soft spoken. We ordered pop, to which the mountain dew had a small black thing floating in it. The waitress took it back and brought out another one. The diet Pepsi I had seemed flatter than normal, but I was thirsty so I drank it. Chips and salsa were actually very good, but they give u a very small dish of salsa. We then ordered queso cheese for our chips. They brought out another small dish with barely warm cheese, it had already started solidifying. We both ordered the carnitas dinner. The dinners came within 10 minutes, which was good. The rice wasnt done and was still crunchy. The beans tasted like they were from a can. The guacamole was brown when they brought it out....if youre not going to have fresh guacamole, at least stir it before you bring it out. The pork was very moist and fell apart, which is why this is getting a second star and that is the only reason. The pork was very under-seasoned. I was very displeased with this restaurant. The waitress delivered our drinks and that is about all we saw of her. A guy wearing all black was walking around, talking on his cell phone, is who brought our food. After we were done eating, nobody came to clear off the table, refill our drinks, or bring the bill. I had to wait by the cash register and the guy wearing all black, looked around and couldnt find the bill, so I had to tell him everything I ordered....again. If you are looking for Mexican food, I would skip this place and look for another restaurant.

What a shame and embarrassment to hire employees and dont pay them. I went to work to this place as a waitress hired by Pedro Mendez for a few days. I contacted him for my payment he simply told me that he was not going to pay me. He should be ashamed of himself. Even it was only a few days you need to pay employees. I filed a complaint with the department of labor of Indiana, but they couldnt do much because he never responded to letters. He can keep the $$$ he must be in such a need.

Today we visited Casa Vieja Mexican Grill. Our waitress was very slow to coming to our table, I asked for table service guacamole didnt get it we had Margaritas awful Margaritas this time. Someone else brought our food and our waitress never came back to ask how everything was so finally towards the end we were close to being done eating and she finally came out to check on us, so we asked for check and then we didnt even drink our Margaritas all the way. . Horrible service this time

Ordered chicken fajitas for two so I could have lunch for tomorrow and what a mistake that was chicken was dry and flavor was at best edible also waited 45 min to get our margarita I wanted corn tortillas and got flour ordered cheese casadilla and got chicken and to top it off it was Monday so not busy at all :/ wouldnt waste my money there again

Good food in a small town. Margaritas are weak; told made in bulk ahead of time. Taste of ice cubes and very weak mix make these margaritas very bland. Food was ok- very average. Ample parking and very nice and clean surroundings. A pesky fruit fly that would not go away reduced my opinion of ambiance.

Great food. Nice atmosphere. My daughters chicken fingers (I know, I know, chicken fingers at a Mexican restaurant?) were undercooked. Wait staff immediately corrected the issue, so it was fine. Portions were generous. Will definitely go back again.

I have gone twice now, and both times were for lunch. The service is speedy and attentive without being annoying. The lunch menu is extensive with great prices. You really get a ton of food. I had leftovers both times. Rice and beans were very authentic!

Great service and very good food!! The cost of the meal was excellent and priced very well for two people. One of our go to restaurants now for great Mexican food. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

Molcajete and Pedro dinner are a must. Quality and quantity over value is amazing. So much food and delicious margaritas. Must try. Bar, booth, table, and outdoor seating.

Went for a work luncheon. Had a taco buffet with meat and i dont eat it. They quickly accommodated me with veggie fajitas. Their drinks were awesome.
