You want cheap sushi? This place has got you covered. Decent selection at decent prices. Try the avocado salad if you like that wasabi kick—its pretty good! They have all your standard rolls and a decent drink selection as well. Popular lunch spot, so be prepared to wait if you go at peak lunch time. You want GREAT sushi? Go across the street to Mizuki Grill—itll be the best sushi youve had anywhere.

Sushi Kushi offers an excellent Japanese restaurant experience. The quality of all the food is superb and very consistent. The ambiance is also great - a perfect environment for casual dining fit for any occasion such as a family dinner or date. The restaurant also offers a good mix between contemporary and traditional menu items all at an affordable price. I would highly recommend it.

I admit to having high standards for Japanese restaurants, but I found this to be a wholly uninspired experience. The flavors were fair at best (including undercooked edamame), I had to send back a bowl with cracked lacquer, and the sushi portions were quite small for the price. The staff was attentive but unfriendly. We will not return anytime soon.

Brittle Hot Tuna is a family favorite. Its a bit spicy, though not too spicy. It has a fresh flavor and nice crunch. Well worth trying. The rolls and other items are consistently good. Theres chicken on a stick for our non-sushi eater. We enjoy Sushi Kushi Too whether we dine in there or carry out.

It is hard to find a good sushi place in Midwest. I give it a 4, because it is one of the good ones I find in Chicago. The Sushi taste fresh in Chicago. The servers provide good services. It is small and cozy, a nice place to hang out and chat with friends.

The food was not bad...If you dont know what Japanese food is. This place doesnt know if it its Chinese or Japanese. The menus consist of too many things. The rolls were tiny and so westernized. The udon came as just plain broth and noodles. What a shame.

This is real sushi. You have to know what you want and what you like. Many such places are not quite "authentic" but I think, outside of the fancy rolls, you have a chance to sample real sushi. I highly recommend this place.

Good sushi, lots of options, great downtown HP location. This place is hit or miss sometimes. Once its great, another time its just ok but always edible. :). Lake Forest location is a better choice if youre in that area.
