I took my mom here. I wanted some sushi!!!!!!!! They put in alot of effort to please us................................ They have very nice sushi. VERY NICE. I would go again. Its a nice family style respectable place. The staff is very good and very attentive, just the kind you want at any place. Its a GREAT VALUE for the price. They gave us FREE spicey peanuts. NOBODY does that EVER. Very good place. Very clean and oranized very well with their display case.(because i know its hard to sell sushi) Very high class. 10 stars. Great place for a romantic dinner. Very classy. Best spot in town. I ordered a volvano roll. It was so good. I was very full. I wish they would expand to do hibachi. My mom and i would love it. Id spend lots of money here. Its clean, good food. The sushi is TOP NOTCH. VERY GOOD. Very much true to Japan you can get without going to big city, but, this is so much better and much better service than in the big city for the same type of stuff. This is a good decent hard working people that just wants to give good food to their community. Im from out of state. Ive traveled many places in u.s.a. i just visit this area for my mom. This IS the best thing in town. I wish i had it more where i live, but i DONT. Please understand this is a good clean respectable family style restaurant. They deserve our business. The seating in this place is very cozy and good.its relaxing. The staff will not overwelm your party. ItS very underated.

Was shocked to see a sushi place while passing through Connersville. Was more shocked that it was actually pretty good! Excellent service and some decent sushi. Ive had far worse in much larger towns and cities. Hopefully the people of Connersville support it. Will definitely stop back in next time through town.

This is the best restaurant in Connersville. My parents loved this place and they were treated like royalty every time they ate there. They went out of their way to accommodate my vegetarian husband and my picky vegetarian, autistic stepson. Im not sure if theyre open or closed but they should be open forever

Food is good and the owners/operators are super friendly. Always get a good fresh meal. Nice variety of dishes although knowing what to get is a bit of a challenge. Would have given 5 stars but I feel cleanliness suffers a bit and could be improved but overall it is a great dining experience.

Unique Japanese restaurant. Many types of sushi. I like the friend roll and the DaBomb Roll. The Bento boxes are the best meal deal as the entree comes with soup, fried or white rice, eggroll and 3 pieces of sushi. Friendly service from a nice family that runs it.

Wonderful food & and great service. Relaxing atmosphere, food came quick, and the sushi was very fresh. Our waitress was polite and personable winning over our little one. In my opinion Yamato is the best restaurant is this area. We will definitely be back.

Great unique Japanese dishes and sushi! Chinese generals tsos chicken offered as well and is possible the best generals tsos chicken Ive ever tasted and Ive had alot of generals chicken.
