Very good food -- restaurant in a strip mall, doesnt detract from the quality, quantity or price! Panchos Favorite (tilapia & shrimp with rice & mango pico) is my favorite -- the shrimp was cooked very nicely, too, not overdone at all! My husband had Tostadas de Ceviche, which he loved, and I really enjoyed, too, even though "sushi" and cold fish dishes usually arent my preference -- the flavor was excellent, perfectly seasoned. Great prices, good portions, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The childrens menu had great variety with choice of side dishes, which I have rarely seen before, but that was really nice! Ate here on our way to Michigan from Chicago, service was friendly, reasonable wait for food.

Great local place, friendly staff, quick service, great prices. The food is phenomenal and they give you so much free chips and salsa its a wonder how they turn a profit. Leftover value is high - food taste great the next day too if you take some home which you will because the portions are large. Favorite place in Chesterton - family goes once a week!

This place- in Chesterton- past all the lousy fast food places, behind Taco Bell, just off 49, west down Indian Boundary- has the best homemade habanero sauce ON THE PLANET! Add 30 different tequilas ?!? El Cantarito is the spot for excellent Mexican cuisine!

The chips crispy are plentiful and the salsa is good. I recommend the chorizo tacos. They come with beans on them and a sprinkling of cilantro. If you want rice and refried beans, however, you need to order those separately. Prices are very reasonable.

I love the wait staff. Very friendly. Even tho i dont eat everything they served the food overall is good. Thr drinks are off the chain. I usually come on break and enjoy myself ever time. Have made this my tuesday and wednesday lunch time.

Decent food, friendly but lengthy wait for drinks and food orders. Waitress did not come back to check on our table and had to flag another waiter. Good selection of beers on the bar. My favorites are Serranos and Casa del Mar in Valpo.

The food is OK. A local chain, where the food is identical. The menus were somehow very warn, and had to read. The service was slow to the point where we almost left. Then it was just as slow to pay.

La Comida Fresca y Deliciosa The slow cooked shredded chicken chimichanga was moist and flavorful! A great familia restaurant so much better than the fast food chains of Chesterton, Indiana!
