We went there when they had a live Mariachi band and just loved it. We placed our food order and literally moments later had our food prepared perfectly. The food was on our table in less than five minutes!! The service is perfect, the owners of the restaruant came and spoke with us twice and asked if everything was fine. The restaurant is beautiful and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend El Pueblo for quality Mexican food at a great price. P.S. The portion sizes are huge and great value! You willd definitely leave satisfied. Also, their deserts are to die for!

One of my newest favorite places to eat. Very authentic food, served hot and with a smile. Good dish and drink specials, MUST TRY THE Hawian Fajitas and Margaritas. You wont be disappointed. Clean, friendly, (owner can be a bit more friendly) hes a bit BLAH, but a must visit place.. make sure you have a designated driver, those Margaritas will hit that spot lol LOVE LOVE LOVE

Today is April 8th 2017 I stopped in with my family for dinner and my experience was very good, customer service was excellent we had a guy waiter, I wish I knew his name because he was so polite and he took very goood care of us. I will be recommending this Mexican restaurant to all my friends and family. The food was outstanding❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

With the cost of eating out Im always a little nervous to try somewhere new. El Pueblo did not disappoint! The food was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean (along with the restroom!). The meals are fairly priced and the servings are more than enough. This was an easy 5 stars!

Ive lived in multiple regions throughout the US, due to my military career, and rate this as one of my top two favorite Mexican restaurants. It is one of my go-to stops when periodically returning to NW IN. The prices are reasonable and food/service are excellent. I highly recommend to travellers and locals alike.

Mari is full of crap. Probably getting paid by taco loco. El Pueblo has excellent beans and rice. Ive also had their chile relleno and it is also very good. Its a shame how people play games with other peoples livelihood on here. Especially when its a place with delicious food and commendable service like this.

Rice and beans are nasty, no flavor. Chile relleno(stuffed pepper) taco was such an insult. I cant believe they would sell me that. It was all cheese and a sliver of pepper. Food was not good. Taco loco is %100 better.

Food was better than expected for taste and variety. Service was excellent. I had low hopes for dinner in Portage and was very happy here. Margaritas were from a mix and no craft beer but I wasnt expecting either.

the food is not authentic my friend had a flauta dinner it was cremated. pure charcoal ! i had chicken enchiladas swisas could not find the chicken & poor presentation ! cant recommended. you better off at taco bell !

Love this place! Great food and service always, even with pick up. If picking up make sure you live close, they arent joking when they say 10 minutes lol, if you live further order on your way there trust me.
