The way that they handle coffee here is frustrating. 3 dollars for a cup and you are expected to get up and serve it yourself. I dont understand their reasoning unless theyre trying to persuade people to drink less of it. Restaurants that try to pass off laziness as a "neat, quirky feature" have always been a pet peeve of mine. When I consider that we saw our "waiter" twice and he wasnt even the one who brought us our food, I wonder what we tipped him for? The quality of their ingredients is very nice though. I had one of their egg sandwiches and my wife had their breakfast crepes. Id say my choice was the winner. Her crepe was well made but seemed to lack a lot of flavor. Mine was just a simple egg sandwich on sourdough, maybe not worth the 10 dollars but I left pretty happy with it. Something that could easily be made at home. Both came with a nice fruit cup. Strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, etc... I was pleased to see no melon! Honestly, I wouldnt have reviewed this place one way or the other, but as petty as it may sound, the coffee situation really left me agitated. I really dont think that it is neat to get up and leave my table and my wife to pour myself a cup of coffee from the "bar".

Highly priced for a meager portion of food; charged two dollar for a piece of toast which was listed separately. The food was not that great, either. Waiter was careless about the billing and cheated on my tip amount. Although it is possible he may have misread my hand writing, the total amount was clear enough, which was changed and increased on my debit/credit card. I would have not tipped at all if tipping had not been customary. Never again to visit and eat at this place or least likely at any other location of Patachou.

I had the French Toast, it was quite tasty, but not quite enough for a full hungry belly. I think that should be an expectation when you go here, good food, smaller portion and pay a premium. As someone else said the coffee is self-service style, and they say "Help yourself to some coffee". Be warned that there will be a coffee charge on your bill. I would go again, but this isnt like normal breakfast joints where you leave feeling miserable due to intake quantity.

Petite Chou became a fast favorite of ours after enjoying breakfast there one weekend. After many visits, Petite Chou continues to impress. From their daily omelet specials to the to-die-for "duck fat fritas", delicious salads, and burger topped with brie and leeks theres something great for every meal! Across the board - service to ambiance, food to location, Petite Chou is highly recommended!

The wait staff is nice and the food was amazing once they got it right. Ordered 3 plates at 15,10, and 3 dollars the only one that was correct was the buscuit at $3. Even with that they forgot to bring me the preserves that go with it. The duck hash had a hair, and the croissant french toast was burnt. Everything got remade it tasted lovely but no consideration once the check came.

Fabulous customer service! When I arrived with my mother in a wheelchair after closing, they graciously took us in and made us feel welcome. We offered to go somewhere else, but they again reassured us and so kindly served us a beautiful lunch. Way above and beyond in todays world. Compassionate staff and great food.

Delicious little place for breakfast or brunch. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary (with Sriracha salt) and The Californian Broken Yolk sandwich. Big thick cut bread, runny eggs, thick cut bacon, and perfect avocado. They also have a quaint outdoor seating area.

It was the best flavored breakfast food ever. I was there with some friends who swore that, if for no other reason than returning for brunch, they would be back to visit ( a nice way to keep friends!). The coffee is the best.

If I met someone jaded and cynical about society, I would take then to Cafe Patachou and buy them an omelet so they would know that civilization has truly progressed, in at least a few ways that matter.

Horrible. The water we were served was probably ancient tap water. The food was extremely average and was definitely no eye candy. OVER-HYPED. Petite are lucky I have to give at least one star.

Yum. One of our favorite destinations for special occasions. Love the chicken paillard, scallops, salads, bread, deserts. Attentive staff and our food typically appears quickly - always a plus.

Overall a disappointing experience. The food is very average and most dishes are not executed in a traditional French style. Lack of a French onion soup is a deal breaker.

Update your hours. Google lists them as open until 10pm and the door says closed at 3pm. Such a let down.
