We pulled in the parking lot at 8:30...before my party of 9 got out of the car the server who was sitting by the front entrance smoking a cigarette announced that it would be 30 mins just to clean the grill.... we walked inside and the grill operator who 5 mins later was talking on his cell phone at the grill, old us the same. If they would have just welcomed us in....gotten the 9 places set...then the drinks we would have been ok with a 15 min wait for the grill to be ready. And 9 people at at least 10 dollars per person is 90 dollars the store lost plus the 15% or better that we tip servers....I guess this store just dId not want our business. Needless to say.....we will not be back there to eat.

Stopped last night for a quick bite...my girlfriend and I were the only two people there, which should have told me something. We both ordered salads. I got the grilled chicken, and she had a club. Both salads were frozen. Some of the lettuce was transparent, and the tomatoes were either mushy(from being frozen) or hard(still frozen). The grilled chicken on my salad was fresh and ok, as was her egg, but the lettuce, carrots, tomato, radish...all the veggies were nasty. I guess I should have known better than to go into a lard spoon restaurant and expect them to make something that was both halfway healthy and also edible.

If youre craving a waffle or smothered hash browns after working third shift, go to a Dennys or something; anywhere but this waffle house. Multiple trips after work, the following was experienced: two waitresses almost got in a fight behind the counter; they were out of straws, coke, WAFFLE MIX, and butter; constantly dirty tables and overworked staff during rush times, but even so the wait staff takes almost ten minutes to ask what you want to drink. Maybe Im being overly critical while waiting for my pancake -I wanted a waffle, of course- but the experiences are not exaggerated. Come during the day or not at all.

I have been to this location several times each time i did not order any thing except ice ... Why well because it was so very VERY HOT AND HUMID they have never said hey you #@&*$#@$# get the F out of hete ya been here to long ... This location Displays such Love Patience And the workers love the customers and the free gift of life itself wow WOW ! Come here to experience love and kindness and the food well the times i have eaten here a taste of heaven ... What ya dont agreee ... Then you just need a taste bud operation replacement !

We went in and sat at the bar which was right in front of the grill and the register was to the left. The counter and menus were filthy. Not one person greeted us. 2 waitresses and 1 grill cook were right in front of us, we sat there for at least 10 min an none of them acknowledged us or took our order. The cook has his pants down to his knees. Which I dont want to look at around my food. We got up and left and no one tried to stop us or said anything to us. We went across the street to Bob Evans. This place was horrible.

So we go to WAFFLE house and the waffles we not even close to cooked all the way. The waitress never even came over to check or talk to us. Could never find herand when we did she would only talk to the couple next to us..... Went to restroom before leaving and NO soap in the womens bathroom and only dish soap in the mens. Wonder how the employees wash their hands before messing with our food?? This place sucked and definitely will NOT be going back!

4706 Preston Hwy Louisville, KY First time customer. Okay at best food. Rude waitress upcharged without informing me and WH forces a 10% mandatory gratuity on take outs. What gratuity? Taking a small order and ringing up an order with no smiles deserves no tip and this is coming from a tipper. Who needs to be nice when youre guaranteed a tip right? Never again will I visit such a ghetto restaurant. No more Waffle House for me in the future.

Just got a waffle and a Texas toast sausage egg and cheese I got all the way home 30 min ride and pulled my waffle out and it was thinner then a thin crust pizza it looks like smashed bread and it was burnt. Then I took a bite of my sandwich and it had egg shells in it. I will never go back to the Waffle House on 4706 PRESTON HWY never! never! never! AGAIN even if its the last place standing. This place dont even deserve one star.

11 on Wednesday morning. No clean tables walking into the place. Female bathroom was flooded had to take my daughter down the street to a gas station because she didnt want to use the mens bathroom. Chili was cold. One person at the table got a refill for the whole meal . Everything I touched was sticky. This seems to be the overall behavior for the Waffle House food chain restaurants. This is my first one star review ever.

Our waitress was rude, she was outside smoking when we hot there so Im guessing we interrupted her break. Then she brought food that wasnt all correct and then I was almost done before she came back around before I could let her know that she forgot part of my order. I give waitress a large curve in grading just because I know what they have to deal with at times and how hard they work. But this was just bad.

After a convention at Freedom Hall we made the quick drive over to the Waffle House we went there at 2 a.m. and the staff took great care of us. I was amazed that it was busy at that time of the morning. The service was good and the food was good but I have to give it 3 stars because of the atmosphere was pretty rough. The Waffle House had to hire a police officer to stand outside the building as security.

Over all good. It was very crowded when we got there. We waited on a table about 10 min. The server cleared the dishes and after we sat down she wiped the table....wiped lettuce n crumbs in my kids lap and didnt fully wipe table. I had to dry the table with napkins. My kids waffle order was messed up but quickly fixed. Considering it was so so busy this was little stuff.

1 star, if that. Called in order 20 mins before hand. When i got there, they said they didnt make my order because they didnt have green peppers for my omlet? But they took my phone number & told me that they would call me with a price, WHAT??? If they had my phone number, & there was an issue, then why didnt they just call me...instead of NOT making my order at ALL!!!

took 20 mins to even get our drinks while the boss was arguing with his girl on the phone, then brought us the wrong steak, after it had been on our table while we were eating they put it back in the freezer to serve a phone order that just called, then when they cooked our new steak it was way under cooked. I luv waffle house but this one needs new management!
